Castle Knights — Restaurant in England

We have been here before for Sunday lunch and enjoyed it very much so we went back last Sunday and were really disappointed. I couldn't take photos I didn't have my phone we got 2 large dinners which had good amount of meat, a table spoon of carrot and turnip, I small piece of broccoli, which was still half cooked but I like veg that way, the smallest amount of cabbage and a tablespoon of cauli cheese. Loads of.mash potato, and the Yorkshire pudding was like eating carboard The gravy was really just like water no thickness to it. The lady who served us was very nice. It was very clean and was nice place to eat. Food was roasting hot, huge portions and was nice but was an wee bit on the greasy side. Coke was on the funky side, maybe because it draft 💁 only down side was we was, we was out has an family and chatted but some random come sat down next table and kept talk to us, (obviously known to the staff) normally we don't mind taking to people but we would be taking to wee one about something and she kept saying things and not always appropriate, just upset the...

I took my mum to castle knights for her 70th birthday last night 7th sept. There were 5 adults and 4 children. Do you know the staff were so accommodating and nothing was any bother. Also the food was absolutely amazing and everything was perfect. I thoroughly recommend going here at least once. Thank you ladies and your fab chef for making my mum's birthday so special.
