Ciao Takeaway — Restaurant in England

What an amazing experiance we had tonight in how not to treat customers. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE as you will have to pay in store and the guy(believe to be the owner) in store does not care that he is ripping of his customers. He told us that the link on his website we used to pay is a closed and we have to pay in store. Proved our payment by showing our online banking yet he said we have to pay to get food. Save to say his attitude was as disgusting as his food. FYI to pay on a website you have to have a live active merchant ID account with a bank therfore if you believe we shouldnt be able to pay online call you merchant service provider and provide your notice or keep ripping off...

Average but big enough portion sizes with a good amount of meat in all the dishes we ordered. Flavoursome but nothing special, OK prices but a touch on the expensive side.

They have a menu different to most places in Beverley which means it's nice to have this as an option, and for that reason this is an appealing choice.

Overall I'd say it is slightly overpriced for the quality and they made a mistake with our order, but all things considered I would go back again and I would recommend it to others, but I'm not sure I'll be hankering for it again straight away, then again there was nothing to complain about.

We only ate pasta dishes so can't comment on the pizza's or the rest...

Cold food. Hot and cold items bagged together in tied plastic bags so left food soggy. Burgers and fries were completely cold on arrival. Chicken burger had 2 small pieces of chicken not a chicken breast as advertised. The cans of drink were warm as put in same bag with hot food. Fries soggy from the condensation. Nutella doughballs overcooked with hardly any Nutella topping so dry and chewy. Used ciao several times in the past with no issues, called the shop, the owner/chef attitude was dismal, no apology, refused any refund and didn't have time to resend food. Offered me 20% next order and wouldn't budge, I won't be ordering ever again it was dire and...
