A wonderful place to completely disconnect from everyday life. Cloverdale Retreat is the kind of spot you visit once and instantly want to come back to. Peace, quiet, and closeness to nature – everything here creates an atmosphere that truly lets you reset.
The cabins are very well equipped – clean, comfortable, and cozy. You can tell the owners put their heart into this place. There are thoughtful little touches that make a difference – soft blankets, warm lighting, fresh-smelling bedding, and even local products in the kitchen.
The surroundings are stunning – perfect for walks, morning coffee on the terrace, or evenings by the fire. We were lucky with the weather, and the night sky was incredible – we could even see the Milky Way.
The service was lovely, very helpful but never intrusive – exactly how it should be. I genuinely felt like a guest who was being taken care of.
If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort with nature, far from the noise of everyday life, I absolutely recommend Cloverdale Retreat. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway or some peaceful time...

Slow service for drinks as one person serving, making drinks as they went, with the other member of staff out back (could have supported?). Plus had to wait for the kettle to boil too. Only 3 customers, but it was early. Staff were pleasant though. If they set up before the opening time, I'm sure it would have been a better experience. Quite a combative response for constructive and...

I'm sure this place used to be better at providing alternative options for different diets. My daughter is Coeliac and I am egg and dairy free and the last three times I have been here now there has been nothing I can eat. I ask for vegan options so's not to scare staff with the idea of an allergic customer (I'm not, I'm intolerant) and you'd think that with the current hype there would be vegan options??? All I want is a piece of cake or flapjack to go with my soya tea. Can't a sealed long life option be available from the likes of Love More...
