Love going to this beautiful bar with my husband every time we get a chance, get our drinks and sit outside by the river, talking and enjoying the mind blowing gorgeous nature right there in front of us as we sip and talk, there are sometimes boats with happy people and their dogs going by, the tall greener than green trees swerving gently as in a magical dance never gets old for us, and it's just one of our favourite places in our neighbourhood to spend quality time together, with friends or just the two of us. Workers are polite, friendly and helpful, truly professionals who are keen on making you feel welcome anytime, there's never trouble and everyone, young and old enjoy this special place! I am not grading the food yet because I haven't eaten there yet, but from what I've seen people ordering, it smells and look good enough to eat again and again, so I will try their bar food soon and then I will give you my honest feedback, and as far as the refreshing cocktails we order all the time, they are amazing and well prepared and we love it!

We came on a small dinghy and stopped by the jetty. We ordered kingfisher burgers and some drinks. Food was very good, solid 4 star, also service. Was told that there will be quite a wait for our food to arrive, but it was on our table in about 5 minutes. Will visit again as the location is very attractive and food is good.

I have eaten here twice recently, once with friends for afternoon tea and last week last week for Sunday lunch.||The afternoon tea was well presented with a good selection of sandwiches and cakes. Lovely scones with jam and cream. There was so much that we asked to take some of the cakes home. Very friendly and prompt service. Enjoyable and would go back for the afternoon tea.||Whilst having our cream tea I saw the Sunday lunch being served to other tables. Looked lovely and decided had to come back for Sunday roast.||Visited last Sunday, good friendly service, did not wait very long for our food. Roast beef was exceptional and my guest enjoyed the gammon. Vegetables were lovely especially the parsnips. A very enjoyable lunch and the portions were generous||Would recommend Sunday lunch and Afternoon tea and will return for both again||The wine list is quite expensive, could not see any bottles under £30. Was good to see Elysium Dessert wine sold by the glass, do not usually find this, so this was a nice...

Stayed here Thursday 23rd for my sons wedding. The setting is lovely. Unfortunately we were not allowed an early entry to our room before the wedding. This was a shame as it was a 3 hour journey to get there! When we did enquire about this we were told most people book the night before, nice if you can afford it! Saying that the cost for our room including breakfast was very reasonable. |The hotel was lovely and clean. Our room was a nice size with a bath which was also nice. |The wedding was lovely and nearly all of the staff were nice and friendly. The wedding dinner was AMAZING! Believe me you will have never tasted beef like it. |Breakfast was cooked when ordered so nice and hot and plenty of other choices, cereals etc. BUT...in the week breakfast stops at 9am so be aware if the night before is a late one. I know we werent the only people not happy about this and in fact some skipped breakfast completely. |All in all we were very happy with our stay and would definately...
