Written by a parent with a 2 and 4 year old. This is a lovely little cafe (attached to the Aysgarth Falls visitor centre) that appears to be family run. We visited after having a family adventure down to the middle and lower waterfalls: we needed some ice cream energy before doing the upper falls walk. We were greeted immediately by a very friendly staff member, who recommended their Italian soft gelato. Our boys wanted a mint choc chip though. But the lady still let them try a sample of the gelato, which was delicious! The kids had ice cream and grown ups had coffee and shared a piece of rocky road, which was delicious and plenty big enough to share (or eat all to yourself!) If you're visiting the falls and need a little pitstop, then look no further than Coppice Cafe!

Great little stop and some nice outside seating. You cannot see the waterfall from the cafe but there are toilets - there are some inside seating options and outside has no cover from the elements.. the Bacon Sannies £5 are worth the stop ❤️… dog friendly - good parking - toilets - gift shop .. overall a good stop - (tip 😉get cakes from the cafe on the bridge and coffee from the visitor centre - no coffee machine at the bridge cafe🙄)

Visit spoiled by rude older blonde lady who decided to jeer that we couldn't find the order point (which is a total mess) when we asked . Luckily our order was taken by a friendly young Asian lady who rescued the day a bit. Why self important people like this are in customer service I really don't know Missed her vocation as a traffic warden I suspect 😂. Ps Everyone else at the visitor centre was...
