This is a lovely little cafe (attached to the Aysgarth Falls visitor centre) that appears to be family run. We visited after having a family adventure down to the middle and lower waterfalls: we needed some ice cream energy before doing the upper falls walk.
We were greeted immediately by a very friendly staff member, who recommended their Italian soft gelato. Our boys wanted a mint choc chip though. But the lady still let them try a sample of the gelato, which was delicious!
The kids had ice cream and grown ups had coffee and shared a piece of rocky road, which was delicious and plenty big enough to share (or eat all to yourself!)
