Cornish Craft Barn — Restaurant in England

Lovely place and people, normally, but they have closed for all of August. However, they left their notices out as if they were open as usual. Their closed sign was only on the front door, illegible till you reached it.

3 other sets of people, one a cyclist who had come a long way specially, turned up at the same time as me, all confused and irritated to find the cafe closed. All were annoyed by the poor signage.

In addition to this, their website still says they are open as normal.

Gorgeous cafe with beautiful views and very friendly owners and staff.. So warm and cosy, especially on a damp rainy day. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Lovely little gift/craft shop and they also run craft sessions. Met some friends there and enjoyed bacon rolls, cheese muffins and cakes, coffees, hot chocolates and milk shakes. There is such a welcoming, homely feel. When we realised we had been there 3 hours we thought we had better go home.....but....we will...

Attending a patchwork class above the cafe. The cafe is dog friendly, staff are very friendly and talented bakers.
