We wanted to eat here after going through the Grevor Tin Mine. Unfortunately there is very very limited seating. There were about 5 wait staff behind the counter when we went the "take away" route out of hungry desperation but we were left standing not sure what we were meant to do or how to order, and with no menu in sight. One woman asked if we were taking away but was busy preparing cornish pasties on plates and didn't have time to help us or even let us know what we needed to do (we did ask after a couple more minutes and she was helpful to answer when we directly asked) - despite other staff stood around behind her seemingly not doing much. We ordered cornish pasties as that seemed to be the only available food other than cake, they were fresh and hot but otherwise underwhelming. The slab of rocky road was huge and very chocolatey. Given the photos and menu on the website, I had been looking forward to a treat meal out and was sorely...

I recently visited Count House Cafe in Geevor on a Sunday, and it was a great experience! They offer an all-day breakfast that is honestly one of the best breakfast menus I’ve ever seen. As someone with a dairy intolerance, I was pleasantly surprised to find an amazing vegan breakfast option available.

I opted for the vegan breakfast, which included French toast made with local sourdough, hash browns, vegetable sausages, and pancakes. It was a huge breakfast, but every bite was delicious! It was so refreshing to have a different option for once, and I truly appreciated the effort they put into creating such a satisfying yet truly delicious meal.

The cafe also has an amazing view from the window, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Count House Cafe to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot with plenty of delicious options. I can't wait to return and try more...

This very same pasty used to be baked in Butters Bakery Pendeen years ago, and the Cafe usually does the same. But we bought three today, and the salt level was over the top, all three of us were disappointed, one could not stomach it. I will try again, but if the same will have to give one star, and tell the staff.

Sorry you misunderstood, I said Butters made this pasty, meaning quality and taste, your pasty has allways been great, just like Butters used to be, and how I like it. The review is for the last order I had of three salty pastys, all three of us noted the level of salt. Certainly I will buy again, as I'm sure they will be ok, as...

The food at this cafe is absolutely delicious, but be warned - the flatbreads are HUGE! It could honestly be half the size and still fill you up. I can eat like a horse and struggled to finish the pulled pork flatbread and chips. Great value though, especially as you could easily get 3 meals between 4 people and not be left hungry. The food took about half an hour to come but it was at 12:30. And the girls serving were lovely, smiley and courteous.
