Called in to see friends, was pleasenty surprised, The Cross Foxes has just had a decor refurbished, both inside and out, the bar is nearly a 360 degree open plan, one big L shaped, but the room is sectioned off in a open plan room, confusing you might think, one portion is clearly a Snug the tap in the middle & then the games room, pool table, juke box, The Foxes seems to cater for the locals, I'm sure if hot drinks & small snacks the local Train Station commuters would be attracted to this Establishment, all in all everyone seemed friendly, it was absent of a local youth gathering which surprised me because of the Games room. I believe the landlord is relatively new & he's done a great job on the look & feel in general of the Foxes but also is quite selective of his clientele. Would visit again. I got persuaded to go there for the new year and was told that Dona and her partner had taken it on, known them both for years and they had always been polite to me so I thought yeah why not (I hadnt been out for Xmas or new years for a long time) all I can say is I am so glad I went there!!
