This little Sandwich Bar /Cafe, nestled in plain sight of the Quintessential little village of Gobowen is a little Gem I discovered whilst exploring the village of Gobowen, far beyond my expectations I do believe I discovered the Holy Grail of the modernised version of the once loved "Greasy Spoon" of eateries. For such a small establishment this is the king of the Traditional English breakfast, the more than ample portion of bacon presented to me was the finest swine I have encountered, I made a modest enquiry of the bacon's origin, I was intrigued to be told the fine swine was locally sourced from a local farm who's beast's were free range, not only free range on any piece of land, but a orchard of Apple trees that the pig devoured all the fallen apples, this can be the only explanation why the pork had a sweet taste on the pallet that can only be sampled and not described.Th breakfast, and it was a full Breakfast with sausage egg beans and tomatoes with mushrooms, all locally sourced, with 2 slices of wholemeal or white bread fresh or toasted along with a mug of tea for the measly price of just £4:99is the finest tasting and the easiest on the pocket by far I have encountered on the Welsh Borders Period, It's as simple as this, you can't say you've eaten a Traditional English breakfast until you have dined at The Gobowen...

Called in this cafe today on my way to west Wales....was met by this amazing friendly lady who gave me a wonderful welcome with a warm smile....my sausage and egg bap has to be up there with the best I've had and had a lovely chat whilst waiting...shall definitely call again... highly recommended....even if you're having a bad day I would definitely come here... you will leave with a big smile for...
