Best Indian restaurant in this area and we have tried them all! What an exceptional dining experience. The staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming. The menu choice is excellent and they will cater for any needs. We are vegan and vegetarian, there are a lot of choices on the menu, however, this time, the owner Manny and the absolute best chef, put together an individual meal for us, for our specific tastes, which was not on the menu. The food is faultless, superb, the quality and presentation, large portions, served quickly, the individual starters were unbelievable, we were sat there saying wow, this is gorgeous, the curries had absolutely amazing flavours and spices, so tasty, perfection, the rice and naan breads too, chilli and garlic wow. First time dining in here, first thought was that the seating area was quite small but it wasn’t crowded which was nice, the atmosphere was really good and the waitresses were so lovely. The wait was a little long but was grateful for that as the serving sizes were huge so gave our belly’s chance to settle, plus it was a Saturday night and you could see how busy they were. The food though was absolutely worth the wait. The pickle tray had plenty of selection, I got the samosas which were so good! Visited for first time on Saturday. The restaurant was freezing. I didn't even take off my coat ! The popadoms were lovely & fresh. We ordered the desi platter starter - which took over 20 minutes to arrive. Salad on a hot plate ? The starter it's self was fine. No raita with pickles - that's an extra £2.95 I think ? The mains took 40 minutes to arrive after we finished the starters. And the curries were a tad bland.
