Very lovely cafe in centre of Stanley. Few eating in tables, also tables outside.Handy location if visiting local attractions like Beamish Museum, Tanfield Railway or just popping out local for a bite to eat. They sell foods like Jackets, salads, paninis, hot and cold drinks or a nice cake from their large selection. They also have lovely pies and pastries. Greeted with a friendly service. Beautiful hot drinks. Enjoyed my Latte, have to say, it was up there for a favorite place for a hot drink, large selection and lovely and hot.

DH9 cafe is a lovely little spot with treats galore. Super warm, with a 45-minute limit on how long customers can sit it (meaning you’ll always be able to snag a seat!) and lots of outdoor seating. They also had soya milk which is great for someone lactose intolerant like me! Staff were friendly and there was some nice music playing with a mixture of festive and pop tunes.

I heard great things about the DH9 cafe and great Cafe it is. I got a peri peri chicken and mozzarella panini with a delicious side salad and coleslaw. A chocolate fudge cake, far too big for 1 person and very moist and delicious. I got as a takeaway both for £10. Worth this price. Great customer service. A very clean shop. I will definitely be back again.

Save your money, you're better off going to Greggs or Mcdonald!!!

Walked in and was asked by one of the girls if I wanted hot food (at 12.30 on a Saturday..) because if so, it means she can't go 🤷‍♀️

Waited 15mnt for a breakfast panini , which was just about warm and had barely anything in it: 1 uncooked hash brown, weird scrambled egg, 1/2 slice of bacon Asked if I wanted beans with it (Didn't mention it was an extra £1) Came in a small pot and just about warm, like straight out of a tin microwaved for 20scd !!!

Had to ask for cutlery and napkins, whilst the other girl was litteraly scrubbing the fridge display just where the cakes are .. absolutely gross .. Tried, but don't bother, SAVE YOUR MONEY !!! (Didn't take a photo as it was already...

The people who run the shop need to get some customers skills. I had to wait 10 - 15 mins for a egg sandwich. As the person who was doing the sandwich was dancing and singing in the back . Then after I got my sandwich and ate it . I went to pick up a cake l had payed for , that took about 10 minutes to get. As the same girl was talking to someone and not seen to people ln the queue. She was bothered about what music was on then customers. Sorry , but I do not think I be back . Get yourself some customers skills. And I know about them , as I worked in retailer for 20...
