If I could give 0 stars I really would. After a very long day at the hospital we stop off for a much needed coffee break on the way home. All we wanted were 2 cups of coffee with milk and a hot chocolate. Simple right? Well we stood there and waited.. and waited.. and after a long time we got grunted at by an old man, we stated our very easy order to him to which he replied, 'No time to put milk in!' with shock I looked at him for a sec thinking he was joking but he was shaking his head at us, I said 'no time?' he barked 'NO TIME FOR MILK!' At that point we turned on our heels and left as he stood giving us vile looks. To set the scene properly I must say that it was NOT busy, there was 1 woman already sat eating and 3 guys around the corner with drinks, just us in the cue nobody else. By the time he said that somebody else pulled up at that point but that is it. Please explain to me how somebody in that industry does not have time to put milk into coffee!?!? I for one am baffled! Never heard such an excuse and his manner was disgusting like we were a burden for being there! Will never take my custom there ever again. Greasy...

We stop here for breakfast several times a year. It's reliable. If the weather is good you can sit outside. If not, there's limited seating inside. Food quality is adequate for the price and convenience.

It's popular with bikers, especially on sunny weekends. Nothing against bikers. They're mainly pensioners now because most youngsters can't afford proper motorbikes. It's sad that a minority feel the need to keep their engines running, even whilst they're eating their bacon butties. The rest of us would rather listen to the birds.

They serve some of the worst coffee on the planet. It lets them down. I'd happily pay more for better quality.

Several comments have been made about the state of the toilets. I could be wrong but I don't think Dinky's Dinahs is...

Been visiting Dinkys Dinah for years now either whilst passing through into Welshpool or majority of times just making a specific trip for a nice sandwich and a drink. There’s always a great atmosphere at this place and people are always happy to have a good chat with you. My wife and i always go on our motorbike and so do many others but there are all kinds of people who visit from car enthusiasts, caravan and camper vans/motorhomes, farmers. Everyone is welcome and are welcomed. Food is always beautiful and very reasonably priced, there’s ample amounts of seating and also dogs are welcome, there are water bowls out for your fury companions. There is a toilet block located in the lay-by also. Cash & card payments...

It's an ideal place to stop if your heading across into the lovely Mid or north Wales area. Ample parking onsite fo bicycles. Motorbikes, cars, vans, HGV's and even tractors! Food and drink is reasonably priced and can't fault the quality of both. There is seating available onsite. Toilets on site which is a bonus and kept reasonably clean. If your passing the area pop in, you won't be disappointed. You can even buy a copy of the gutter press ( newspaper ) and work clothes to. Used to be 24 hours a day at one point not sure if it still is. Can pay in cash or contactless ( minimum spend £1 again is great as most shops say £5 minimum spend )

Wow what a place. Been coming here for years and it only gets better. Extremely convenient location, cash point at the petrol station up the road, card payments accepted also. Toilets here, really extensive menu. Good parking and always plenty of people here. Food rarely takes longer than 5 minutes to arrive, choice between takeaway or drinks in a mug. Very handsome portions, great prices. Amazing place. A must if you're visiting from England going to mid/North Wales or visa versa.
