Dog & Gun Pub & Inhouse Brewery. — Restaurant in England

I go to this pub every time I go home to see my parents. It is a proper pub, not some fancy imitation themed pub. The pub makes its own beer which tastes as good as any I have ever tasted; I live in London and if the Dog and Gun's beer was served in a London "craft beer" pub it would easily be £6 a pint.

I last went 3 days ago and there was a roaring coal fire in the bar area which was kicking out lots of cosy heat. The bar man is alway friendly and welcoming.

This pub is unique, in so far as it has its own brewery. It serves fabulous home cooked food. The menu is small - which is great, as the chef can concentrate on making a small selection of dishes fabulous. Sunday lunch is fabulous. The taste of the food is unbelievable.
