UPDATE. It’s been over a year since my last visit. Life has been busy. I’m pleased to say the food is still excellent. The king prawn puree was delicious as was the chicken Kazana. The naan was also very good. We washed it down with a lovely gavi ! Sal and his team delivered the normal excellent service you’d expect. Thanks again Nick Wow, we love The Drovers Arms ! Sal and his team there never fail to deliver. The food is always excellent as is the wine. The mussel starter is the best I’ve ever had. We live 12 miles away and it’s definitely worth the taxi ride. I’d recommend 100% as I’m sure you’ll not be disappointed. Look forward to seeing you soon. Congratulations on your Dads Curry Club award. Well deserved :) Cheers Nick

Drover Arm and Steppingly, owned by Sal, offer a wonderful combination of hospitality and delicious food in the heart of Bedfordshire. The ambiance and setup of the place are truly impressive, making it a highly recommended destination for anyone looking to enjoy a great dining experience.

Really tasty food! We had the lamb korma, lamb tikka masala, chicken biryani, plus garlic naan and garlic & cheese naan. Everything was full of flavour, the lamb was really tender, and the naans were fresh and delicious. Generous portions and good value – we’ll definitely be back

I’m so disappointed with this takeaway. people raved about this restaurant so many time so I thought I’ll get a takeaway. I ordered the lamb Tikka which was delivered as a chicken Tikka doesn’t taste anything like a tikka. I will say the best onion bhaji’s I’ve ever tasted. The naan breads were so all burnt, I couldn’t even eat it. I was So so disappointed all our poppadoms were completely smashed to bits. But my son said the Biriani was ok

When I called I was informed they do not use colouring in there food, have you had or tasted our food before? How do you not know if you never tasted it? Not spoken politely either.

Chicken Biriani Lamb tikka - was given chicken Onion Bhaji- amazing Coconut rice 2 x Naan bread- burnt 2 x Poppadoms I x Ferro rocher desert

Personally not worth of £41.75

I was called by the restaurant an hour later To inform me they are going to refund my chicken Tikka I requested ASAP

I don’t think I’ll be using this restaurant again I don’t think I’ll be using this...

My wife and I visited the Drovers Arms to enjoy one of their currys. The food was excellent and reasonably priced but we were very shocked by the price of the soda water and lime drink my wife had. A 250ml glass cost £4.95 - the same as a Cobra beer! We queried that price with the waiter so, when it came time to pay, the Owner/Manager came to take our money. He raised the issue of the soda water cost and was very keen to defend the pricing citing the very high cost of carbon dioxide. Once home we looked into this. We found soda water costs a restaurant around 6p to12p per glass. So no excuse there except for a desire to make around 4000% profit. Anyway, FYI The Drovers Arms, near Flitwick, Bedfordshire charge 5p less for soda water than The Rivioli Bar in The Ritz, Piccadilly, London. ...

Gone here for many years, great food however last experience left me and my sister upset. Specially ordered food without meat as my sister is a vegetarian and was sent food with meat which was sent back and replaced (after 40 mins) to then receive the same curry with small bits of chicken which my vegetarian sister had been eating when she found the chicken. Absolutely disgusting. Should be able to trust a restaurant to not leave meat in your food and to trust they know how to cater for those with food requirements. It was clearly cooked with Chicken and then the chicken was taken out which for any vegetarian is a no go. When we contacted all that was given was a 'we're busy' not much help at all. would not recommend if you had any allergies or food...
