Simply Perfect. I had my wedding here, firstly, I cannot fault their administration, they respond to emails promptly and have been thoroughly organized, supportive and helpful, they have managed every aspect of my wedding with care and professionalism and have not missed a trick from start to finish. I have found planning the wedding with them so easy and simple and really felt they cared about my special day. My wedding went off without a hitch and I think the organization they provide played a huge role in this. ||The prices they offer are more than fair and the service they provide is well worth every penny you spend. Their staff have been friendly and welcoming all throughout and I mean every staff member, from the admin team, to the bar, restaurant, house keeping and kitchen team, each and every one of them I found to be so welcoming and kind, each one of them willing to lend a hand or address any questions. ||The food and drink offered is absolutely delicious and yet again, I just cannot fault a thing. They served over 70 people, 3 courses in a prompt manor and managed to meet everyone's dietary requirements easily. The food all came out perfectly with no complaints. We had the ham hock starter, the twisted chicken pie with champ mash and the sticky toffee pudding and the presentation of each and every dish was beautiful and handled with care. The taste of each dish they offer is indescribable, we went to a taster session and found we fell in love with everything they served, it was so hard to choose a menu because of this! Behind the scenes I honestly do not know how they achieve it, but their food is obviously made fresh and end up tasting utterly delicious. ||The venue itself is fresh, well kept, clean and styled in a beautiful, elegant, modern, yet classic way. It is not fusty like some country houses we viewed, is is well preserved and the history of the building is also present throughout. From their car park, to their garden, to their rooms and the main house it self, everywhere you go is maintained, clean and smart looking and the venue makes an incredible background for your special days. The Venue is well situated in the beautiful and unique village of Partington, is it easy to get to and the village itself offers gorgeous views, a quiet and peaceful atmosphere and has all the extra amenities you may need whilst there, we ordered pizza in from a local shop and it was delicious and hot, whilst the men checked out a few of the pubs in the area which were also welcoming. ||The hotel rooms and the self catering houses are worth every penny you spend, they are immaculate and all unique. The house keeping staff turn around the rooms quickly and efficiently and the cleanliness was obvious. The beds were comfortable and cozy, each room offered everything you would need and more, they make it clear that if there is anything you need extra, that the staff there would be willing to try and help with anything that they could. Again, absolutely no complaints from any of my guests. I can't wait to return for my anniversary's and special days to enjoy a special night away in one of their bespoke and stunning rooms. ||I simply just cannot fault the service Dunedin has provided. I visited and stayed for a wedding. The third wedding attended at this venue. |The house as a whole is gorgeous and staff are friendly and welcoming. |However I have noticed small changes each time which is taking the luxury from the venue. |The small hand towels in the toilets have now been replaced by a horrid hand dryer. No shampoo/conditioner in the rooms. No pastries at breakfast. All of which gave the nice touches previously. ||We stayed in the gold room this time. Although first impressions are good. Things were not as great as it looked. The shower was a nightmare, over the bath which the paint had all been worn and looked tatty, shower curtain in place which was a nightmare as the shower head didn't actually move so you even missed the water or stood that close the curtain stuck to you! The taps were loose and it all flooded the floor. |I understand people like both baths and showers but the space is big enough for a separate shower cubicle. The windows didn't stay open so we had to find objects to wedge them in place. The mattress was very soft and worn in the middle. For the prices of the rooms you'd expect a little more. ||Breakfast.... was disappointed that its a set time. And although a few of us were all there at 8.20am we were told breakfast was at 8.30am and then there was no menu, just a member of staff asking "full English?" No alterative. I asked for a poached egg instead of fried the girl rolled her eyes at me before she needed to ask the chef. We were left wondering what the chef said for 20mins until a breakfast finally arrived. The food quality is delicious. |One person in our party was vegetarian, when asked about alterative we were given the "full English?" Question again.
