I went today with friends and we found that the chef has changed without notice. It’s our usual place to eat paellas and although they were advertised still in the website and in one of the boards, they did not offer anymore. We end up eating overpriced tapas. Almost 6 pounds each for small portions and undercooked fried potatoes. We wanted to finish the meal on a high note by taking the almond cake with a shot of sherry wine. We had it before, it was around 5 pounds and to our surprise it did not contain almonds or sherry wine. Read moreI went and performed some live music for these guys last month, it went down a storm and they had some great suggestions for me to do next time - audience interaction is key! It has become something of a hot spot for live music in Bedfordshire, and thank God for it because it appears to be exactly what the Village of Cople has asked for. The pub itself is old school by design, and that adds all the more charm to it. The bar is stocked for all occasions, and features guest ales.
