Lovely colourful place with a throw back to the 50s and 60s. Mainly a dessert/light lunch type place with a reasonable menu. Nice decor, we can only comment on the afternoon tea, as that's what we had. The afternoon tea was plentiful, and very nicely presented with the usual scones with jam and cream, finger sandwiches, and a variety of cakes. It also had grapes and chocolate covered strawberries (mmm...lovely), which was a nice addition. Free top ups of your tea or coffee if needed. Only one small, not really a complaint, but an observation/suggestion which I deducted a star for. The scones come with small pot of jam with a Wilkins and sons lid, and a small pot of what appeared to be squirty cream. As people who have afternoon teas regularly we know that it's often Wilkins jam served, and usually Roddas Clotted Cream. This wasnt Wilkins jam, the pot had been refilled with something else (the label was removed and vacuum button could be depressed, so had been opened). The jam was ok, but I'd suggest not serving it with the Wilkins lid on to make it look like Wilkins jam, as its misleading. By all means use the jar without the lid, as the cream pot is served open anyway. For the cream, only clotted cream is acceptable really considering the price charged, squirty cream leaves you feeling shortchanged. The real deal for jam and cream would add little to the cost considering you're paying £20 for two people. Apart from that though, it was a nice environment and nicely presented food. Hopefully they'll see what I mean about the misleading jars, and just serve them without a lid on. Give it a try!

This is the magical Ice Cream parlour we all wished for as children. The menu is so vast, Sundaes, waffles, milkshakes and some amazing hot food. The Parmos are simply amazing, the pizzas fantastic and melts magical Not got time to sit in... fine go to the side window and go for one of their special cones. Make a detour to come here you will not be dissapointed. If Michelin gave stars for ice cream Jojo's would have three. Just wanted to add that I went here today (31st August 2023) for their afternoon tea for the first time. It was amazing and after sampling others up and down the country can safely say you will not get better.

Wow and wow again!!! This little Gelato shop has it all going on ...hot food, waffles, sumptuous coffees and drinks and of course lush Dairy Free options. Often wonderful decor doesn't quite match the food, however on this occasion they are a match made in heaven! Even in the quirky, spotless toilets (which, yes, I couldn't believe, so had to get a photo of!!) The staff were very attentive, even when it was an extremely hot and busy day. They have a hatch so you can take away too. The food was very reasonable. We can't wait to return to this quirky Gelato restaurant🍨🍦

I really enjoyed my visit here. My daughter has been telling me about it for ages so on a recent trip to visit her we made the trip out from Middlesbrough. The place is very pink which was a little off putting to me but my daughter and her friend loved it. Their ice cream selection was vast as was their menu of desserts. All very impressive though it took a lot of reading to get through it all. I was told all ice creams are made on the premises which impressed me. Their food itself was a let down. Their pairings were terrible which was a shame because of their got them right the place would have been amazing. We had baked camembert which needed something sweet with it like an onion marmalade which would have made it one of the best I've eaten. The menu said it came with honey and rosemary and rock salt which I presume was meant to be on top. It didn't. Even if it had it still needed something sweet. The meat board was a joke, cheap salamis that most likely are used to too their pizza's. It was meant to come with olives and antipasti which was sun-dried tomatoes and nothing else. I was very disappointed with it. My daughter had a chest and tomato.pizza which she enjoyed. My milkshake was small for the price and wasn't very good. I was surprised to see they didn't have malts on the menu at all. They are a norm for gelato places. Overall we enjoyed the experience and the staff were lovely. My gripes are those of a professional chef so most people won't notice the same things unless...

A individual we support at work asked to go here for a coffee so we took them in, the lady took our order and gave us the coffee in a disposable cup, the individual we support then asked for a piece of cake and I asked if this could please be put into a takeaway container. The lady abruptly informed me they didn’t have any takeaway containers so I asked if we could sit in and the individual have it on a plate. She said ‘well then you can’t have the coffee in a takeaway cup’ baring in mind this had already been given to the individual and they wouldn’t understand why it’s being taken away. I said can’t we keep it in the takeaway cup and sit and eat the cake off a plate, she said no, by this time the individual was having behaviours and getting stressed with the member of staff doing this. I then told her not to worry and I paid for the coffee. I was trying to calm the individual down so admittedly did not say thank you to the member of staff and quite frankly I don’t feel I should have. On walking out I heard her talking to other staff and she said what a rude man. I heard this and turned round and said I heard that! She then came running over to the door and started raising her voice at me and when we have an individual with learning difficulties who was clearly getting stressed this was beyond believe. This place should be ashamed of employing staff who have no consideration for people with learning...
