Greggs — Restaurant in England

Terrible...the slowest two guys on the front you could find. What a long wait, never before experienced at any Greggs. I asked and paid upgrade to a baguette, the guy tried to give me a small bag, so I told him I'd paid for a baguette...bacon and sausage. Baguette came back bacon, egg ( if that's what it was) and sausage with more sauce than you believe...which made everything gooey. I wiped out most of the sauce with the napkin...it was disgusting and by the time I'd got it, my coffee was nearly cold and I'd eaten a doughnut too! Coffee was great. They could hardly get that wrong as it's a push button machine. Greggs is great after driving and before work...these two plonkers we're annoying people who wanted a bite but also had to get to work. I keep having the same issue with the same older lady who works there. I believe she’s a manager. I’m with Octopus Energy, which issues a set number of QR codes per day. If they have codes left, you get one; if they’ve run out, you don’t. It’s simple: each code is unique, and if you have one, it means you’re one of the limited number of people who received one that day. However, this lady doesn’t seem to understand that. She appears to believe that everyone is given the same QR code, and if some people use it, others can’t, which is not how it works. Because of this misunderstanding, I can never actually use my valid code in this store. She ends up raising her voice at me in front of everyone, making it a very uncomfortable and...

This Gregg's is popular with the tradesman. Situated on the outer edge of Yate industrial estate it is perfect to grab something when visiting another unit on the estate. With ample amount of parking there is plenty of space for several vans, to park up an 7.5T or even pull up in an artic on the road. This store opens earlier than most which is perfect to quickly stop and grab a coffee on your way to a job. The staff are welcoming and friendly.
