Greggs — Restaurant in England

I know Greggs is supposed to be simple food and isn't aiming to be up market in anyway....but dear God the service and food quality at this particular branch at the knutfords service station was honestly awful......all three staff members were rude, short with me and clearly had no intention of putting any small amount of effort into what they were doing. ...I'm used to Gregg's pasties/sausage rolls from time to time being a little on the cooler side of warm, but often this comes with a statement from the server asking if this is ok.

Shocking. An embarrassment to the greggs name. Went in for warm food as working outside in - 5 Jan 2025. Ordered a stake bake and sausages roll. Food was cold, total came to £5, asked the man who was serving if they had any hot food or any fresh made items on my order. I was told to use the microwave in the cafe area of the service. Asked for a refund. The man couldn't do it, needed help from female worker who only refund me £4.30. Honestly never been more disappointed. I 2025 going into a food shop to buy hot food and being told to use a microwave all for greggs to steal 70p off me. Joke. Do not use. Rude...

This motorway service station Greggs had the usual fodder on offer, which is pretty fresh and taste. But I've dropped 2 stars simply because it's the biggest rip-off ever and a shocking contrast to the great value you come to love and expect from the Greggs eateries on the high street. I paid something in the region of £8.50 for a couple of their nice baked squares and a packet of crisps. Normally, that would cost roughly half on the high street. Terrible...
