A gem of cafe with brilliant coffee and gorgeous food.

We booked a table of 8 (7 adults and a toddler) for a late lunch and they obliged wonderfully, the staff were fantastic with our 2 year old.

The menu is varied and tasty to suit all dietary requirements including vegans. We tasted the pizza, pasta and salads and they all received rave reviews from our tables. The sourdough pizza is made in a wood fired oven onsite which you can catch a glimpse of if you look down the Northside of the building.

The coffee was a lovely darker roast with fruity notes which was roasted in house, paired with a homemade dessert it finished the meal delightfully.

Today 10 friends & me had afternoon tea at the Press to celebrate my 80th birthday. Michelle & crew made the afternoon a pleasure from start to finish. The table looked lovely with vases of flowers & when the cake stands appeared laden with fruit scones, cream & jam, cheese scones, finger sandwiches, sausage rolls & selection of different cakes. We all tucked in having missed lunch but were unable to eat everything & all of us went home with a box of goodies to share at home. Great pots of tea & gluten free & veggie diets catered for. Thank you so much for letting me my sister have all day breakfast, after it ended at 2pm. The all day breakfast really good+coffees were excellent. Thank you so much for your service especially the cook. We will be back again soon. Hope we will try your afternoon tea some time,. I did book it for Mothers day, but was cancelled because of covid.
