We are on our holiday and this pub was just up the road from where we were staying so we thought we'd give it a go, the food was really good, the homemade steak and ale pie was very tasty, also the homemade lasagne was so so good, we came twice in one week to eat here. You won't leave disappointed, good atmosphere, friendly staff and nice place to have a bit of food and drink

This is a fantastic pub, and always seeking to make customers happy. This latest visit was simply amazingā¦ Iāve never had such good food in a pub anywhere in England. While the burgers and fish and chips etc are to a very high standard, I order the pan fried cod with rosti potatoes and a Parmesan salad, and it was to Michelin standard. Congratulations to the chef!

Everything you want from a pub. Whether you are local or come from afar. Had an amazing roast lunch on Sunday and went back for more last night for a tasty burger. Place was busy but had no issues with waiting, but hey, even if we had to wait, the best things are worth waiting for. Weāll be back. To all staff, thank you.
