Hearts Kitchen — Restaurant in England

For a small village cafe, this place ticks all the boxes.

I started going here a couple of years back, just after lock down. I found an amazing array of cakes and delicious cafe food. I believe that most of what is on offer is home made. The cakes are always different and always amazing. Some of the best cheesecake I've tasted has been here.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. Even if it is really hectic and busy, which it can get. It is very popular.

The views over the river are lovely and in nice weather there is outside seating to enjoy too. Inside you have nice views and loads of local crafts and arty things you can buy as well. It just feels really welcoming. I have spent a fair bit of time sat there "working" on my laptop whilst enjoying a hot drink and some good grub.

It is even dog friendly. So you can take your furry friend along to enjoy the atmosphere too.

I would recommend this place any time. It even has better opening hours than a lot of places in Torpoint.

Visited Hearts Kitchen (1a Fore St.,Torpoint, Cornwall) on Sat (reserved table as usually quite busy). Chose Red Thai sweet potato soup, served with large piece of baguette & croûtons. Soup had a cheeky spicey kick to it with a great "hearty" texture. Had generous slice of lemon drizzle cake & pot of tea, glorious. Views of river Tamar superb. Staff are welcoming & toilets well maintained. This gem of a place has both indoor & outdoor seating. Not suitable for wheelchairs due to stair access to toilet. Takeaways & gift vouchers also available, as are gift ideas displayed around venue. Nearby street parking usually available....
