When Van 87 first started serving the Severn Beach Area it was great, the service was second to none but in the last few weeks it has been nothing short of appalling they are rude and they stopped delivering to residents that have no transport to get to them in person, and for the last couple of weeks they have missed the Beach Road & Beach Avenue side of the village altogether going to the other side of the village which is over a mile for some houses to get to leaving many residents on this side of Severn Beach literally standing outside in the street waiting to buy fish and chips that are never coming!! We’ve been regulars at fish and chips van 34 for over a year now, and the quality has been consistently excellent. The cod is always fresh, and at £10 for a generous portion, it’s fairly priced. The oil is clearly changed regularly, which makes a huge difference in taste. Other menu items are also worth trying and have been equally good. The service is friendly and efficient, and they’re open to feedback, so they’re always looking to improve. Pro tip: hold off on the vinegar until you get home to really enjoy that crispy batter. The curry sauce is a nice touch too.
