This place is amazing, I can't fault it! Believe me it's no 'normal pub', so if you are looking for a boozey night with pints of lager and cocktails, this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for a classy place with amazing food, then this is the place for you! My friend and I went this evening as a few mums from the school said how good it was and it totally exceeded my expectations. When you first walk in, you get an instant homely feel, it's all calming and cozy, with blankets and jumpers to make you feel at home. The wine is £25 a bottle, so no price range. The pizzas (pizza only available) range from £10 for a margarita and upwards. We had two amazing pizzas, the crust is super thin and the ingredients are all organic. We plan to go back in one weeks time with our husbands and kids, which are totally welcome! Give it a try, if you enjoy classy surroundings and good food then you will enjoy this...

This is a magical place. Wonderful old building with delightful old pieces of furniture in varying styles and states of decay (I'm exaggerating - you can sit on most of the chairs!) and wild / wildflower garden. You sit in tranquil contentment under the ash tree with the village church visible behind the thatched roof and red kites wheeling in the sky, and forget your troubles as you sip your drink and wait for your pizza to arrive. A fantastic local - the real heart of the village.

This pub has been through a lot in the last decade - the previous landlord ran it into the ground trying to turn it into a London style organic pizzetta restaurant with ridiculous prices and offensive service.

Lewis and Tia have been absolute life savers and along with the help of the village have transformed the pub into something very special.

There is a great atmosphere, along with a varied selection of beers and spirits. Ales and Gin’s in particular.

‘Luigi’s pizza’ has been a great hit and will tempt you whenever one is delivered to another table!
