This place is acceptable (just) as a place to sleep and wash. The rooms are VERY basic, dated and tired. There are laminated A4 signs everywhere. There litter and cigarette butts all over the steps to the main entrance. Carvery was actually good. Breakfast portions are huge, but not good. My partner had poached eggs on toast with baked beans. 3 slices off toast, one entire tin of beans (really!) on top with the eggs on the top of it all. Main bar smelt of fryers. Shower door wouldn't shut, so water leaked all over the floor. Beds are insanely soft mattresses. Front patio is again tired, and there's very loud noise from the dual carriageway. I'm sure all the front facing rooms have issues with noise of the windows are opened. We luckily avoided that as we were located at the rear, but you can see the views from our window in the photo Some of the staff were great, others didn't act or look the part.

Accomodation in desperate need to overhaul. Bed worn out, curtains see though, mouldy old bathroom in desperate need of paint. Breakfast was ok until I found it was salt that was lightly mushroomed rather than mushrooms lightly salted. Found black things in hash browns? Only eggs available are fried as well. 🤦‍♂️ Then I went to pay. £17 for the breakfast in the photo. Yes it’s a big breakfast but at £12.00 for breakfast I’d have thought it would include OJ (£3 for a glass) and tea (£2 for a weak pot). Under £10 for this down the street at Premier Inn. Accommodation cleaner and better thee too. I spend about 20-30 night a year in hotels in Redruth/Camborne and thought I’d try something different. I think I’ll be voting with my credit card.

A lovely place staff all very friendly and happy. As it was a Sunday I booked my tablet in the afternoon, I was greeted with a very friendly place which made me feel at ease as I was on my own and partly disabled too. I ordered a drink which was brought to me and was told I am on the list for the carvery and will be called when I am able to go up. After a 10-20 minute with I was called up. It wasn't a big place like in my town so the carvery was not a large area but it still did a fab job in selection and it tasted lovely too. You have an option to take you cake away from the cake unit and you pay at the bar. I definitely recommend this place it is worth the wait which due to covid is understandable and it's also a family pub too.

WORST MEAL EVER!! 13 of us ate this evening mostly having carvery, in my immediate family of 6 we ordered 2 large carvery 2 kids carvery and 2 kids pizza. We were advised at Carvery station we should have had slips as to what we ordered which were not given to us.

There were smaller plates (assuming child’s) a pile of plates (assuming standard) and one larger plate (assuming large) the largest plate was used by person in front so took a “standard” we all had same amount of meat as others in front so the sizes and charges for plates do not represent what you get.

There was a long wait time for items which ran out whilst plating up food which meant food was cold when sat to table. Sometimes putting hot gravy on can make a cold meal “ok“ but that was more like warmed up Bovril (really runny no flavour) in fact whole meal had no flavour the sweede/turnip mash was like baby food, no flavour and same with overcooked carrots and peas, Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes looked like Aunt Bessie’s lacking in flavour and texture… I know it’s hard to cater for large numbers of people and Totally understand that it being Mother’s Day but feel IF the standard of food IS USUALLY better it would be better to restrict numbers and state fully booked than except too many bookings and have families disappointed with their meal! Out of the four carveries in my immediate family only one child ate it, my wife and myself picked a little at the food but had a plate practically untouched and my other daughter refused to eat hers as it didn’t taste nice. (I did add plenty of salt and pepper to my food after tasting it but it was cold and slimy and still lacked flavour)

Unfortunately not one person came to us to check if our meals were ok, and after trying to get attention of staff gave up on the meal and sat there with a full plate in front of us. The rest of our party who had carvery also had food left on their plates (very unusual for some of them lol) they agreed food was cold and lacking flavour. Looking around the room at other larger tables there were food left to the majority of other customers plates!

We were only asked if the food was good when we went to pay and advised it was terrible and gave verbal feedback which the chap said oh I will pass that on, he didn’t seem surprised by our comments and no doubt had already received similar comments. (Looking at our receipt we were still charged large when in fact probably had standard)

After spending over £200 for 13 of us we have left hungry, disappointed and sadly won’t...

This is a long review-: The 17th September 23 we visited with friends for a carvery. The food was excellent with a good selection of vegetables which was cooked properly in my opinion. (never been a fan of crunchy carrots or cauliflower stalks - like them soft). However, the waiting on staff, require training, orders for a second round of drinks which eventually arrived and I mean eventually, they failed to take the empty glasses until it was pointed out to another member of staff - for the second time. Two of our four plates where cleared away and two plates left for an a considerable time before being cleared away. (As an ex-silver service waitress back in the day, we learnt how to clear and carry 6 plates, cutlery and waste in one collection - hay-ho! ) so use a tray to collect four plates if necessary. We ordered deserts again beautiful no complaints on the food. However, having waited over 20 minutes and gentle reminders to staff, my ice cream arrived first which was slightly disappointing as it was served in its tub not even a wafer or in a dish; anyhow, and a further 15 minutes before two apple pies and a cheesecake arrived. A wait of 35 minutes for the rest of our party to eat. On several occasions I was trying to catch the eye of the young lady whom was attending to our deserts, she either looked away or hide behind a pillar, and ignored me.! Whilst waiting for our deserts to arrive, I was trying to enquire how long we may have to wait. The customers on the next table to ours encountered the horrors of the waitress spilling a tray of drinks onto the table which in turn went over some of the customers clothes. The waitress came back cleaning the table with the blue roll paper, yet failed to offer the customers any blue roll to wipe the beer and other drinks from their clothing. I know accidents happen, but make sure your customers are given something to clean themselves first, the table second. As for being ignored, rude……the manager or supervisor only needs to check on tables and if necessary explain they are behind with the orders they’re work on get to your order as quickly as possible. Chase staff up when needed. Conclusion-: food good Service terrible Be prepared to wait for clear down, drinks...

On arriving at Inn for all Season, we felt very deflated. It is situated between a dual carriage way & an industrial estate, with no other facilities in walking distance. On our Saturday arrival we were told that the bar closed at 9pm & the restaurant stopped serving too. We had booked as two couples but our rooms were at opposite ends of the hotel., & found out the following morning only one other person was staying there. Our friends ended up with a larger room with a bigger bed, tv & walk in shower. Our room had a standard double bed that was so soft when you sat on it you were nearly on the floor & had roll together. The bathroom was clean but dated, with a overhead shower & curtain. |On Sunday the bar closed at 9pm & Mondays & Tuesdays the bar/ restaurant isn't open at all. We were not notified of this when we booked. Then had to start looking for other places to eat & have drinks, which ended up costing us more because we used taxis. |The staff were all very nice, friendly & tried to be helpful, but when we arrived back at nearly 9pm on Sunday evening hungry, were told we could order food to be delivered ,but had to eat it either in our room or outside . Because we didn't want food smells in our rooms we had to sit on/ under the front veranda in wind & rain wrapped up in coats & hats to eat our food, as everywhere was locked up & the staff left. |The food we had was breakfast, & it was good & cooked to order, but served on cold plates. |Had we known all of this before booking we would not have...
