Italian Gourmet Pizza by Divino — Restaurant in England

Decent pizza. The tomato sauce is excellent. Ordered extra pepperoni which was lazily placed on top, raw, clearly after the pizza had been taken out. The "dessert of the day" was surprisingly tasty, although a couple days old; I didn't expect a random chunk of amateurish fruit cake to be the dessert of the day. Lucky I like fruit cake, it would have dearly disappointed most.

Delivery driver I found to be a lazy and weird character. He refused to come up the stairs to deliver the food, seeing as I am disabled I much prefer drivers to bring me the food. Instead he makes silly comments about the smell of herbs in the air, as if he hasn't smelled sensi before.

definitely the same place. My previous review is accurate. Ordered again last night - pepperoni cooked this time, but sliced too thick. Didn't even eat half of it. Clearly good quality sausage but too thick for me. The yoghurt and plum cake...

I cannot recommend and praise this restaurant highly enough. We organised a family event to celebrate a 95th birthday and Teresa (owner) went out of her way to ensure the meal was perfect. She is an extremely approachable, polite and accommodating person. Nothing is too much bother for her. The food was absolutely delicious! It was authentic Italian cuisine which was all cooked to perfection. We had a variety of food including: antipasti (meat and cheese), panzerotti, arancini, croquettes, bruschette, olives, bread, calamari, pasta, pizza and fruit salad. We visited with the whole family. Most of us chose different items on the menu. Starters were great good portion size and really well cooked. Meat festival pizza was brimming with really good authentic Italian meats(not the usual square cut stuff). The dough was light and fluffy and totally delicious.Gnocchi,lasagna and aubergine dish were amazing. Puddings were so big we couldn't finish them. The chef did so well cooking for our party of 8 everything arrived together and no one was left waiting. We are all in agreement that it is probably the best Italian we have eaten in Peterborough and it felt like we were sitting in a family kitchen where you don't feel rushed to eat...
