KFC Chippenham - Bath Road — Restaurant in England

It has been busier than usual however there was still plenty of spare tables, while my family was doing the order by the screen the one of the workers with glasses ln has been shouting on one of delivery man points finger put and shouting " not doing order so get out" my kids was terrified watching it my boy is 6 and 2yr old girl, i regret we did not walked out at that point. We make an order and tried to sit in one place but air con was blowing freezing cold air at the table so we changed the seat and other aircon was blowing still so we end up wearing jackets. When my order number pop up on screen i came to the till to see a lot of annoyed peoples waiting with their bags as what was inside was not correct, i could not get to the collection point because it was occupied by delivery drivers, delivery bags were on the table where the food supposed to be handed out, i seen my order on the back and very annoyed lady that was shouting on her colleague because of something, i had to wait a while because there was a man complaining in same time about not getting his drink, man was very annoyed with the way the lady has spoken to him about it. When i get to talk to her and seen my order i asked for my receipt because machine did not printed out any. Then she walked off and say something to the shouting lad and that was it, i waited there for a while and decide to take my food to the table. I found a receipt on top of the food.

Zinger was cold so my wife went there and it was replaced quite quickly. However there was a corn on cob missing so i went back and when asked the same lady about it she did not even turned around and just handed the corn on cob to me moving her hand by her back. I grabbed it then i did get funny look from her so i said thank you.

Food was soaked in oil, not great but seen worst.

Overall place was a mess, lots of rubbish ln the floor, however the tables we used was wiped down all around there was a rubbish, i could not dispose our waste due to overflowed bin i had to leave it on the table. Seem that some of previous customers left mess because they were disappointed as i was and feel bad atmosphere.

Poor management , rude staff and place out of control..i suggest to the staff to change profession and to manager to sit there on Saturday evening and look from the side to see how bad this...

Worst KFC ever. We had been very excited about a new KFC opening near us and so on Christmas Eve seeing the queue was quite short we decided to treat the kids to a surprise. Although short the queue moved slowly and so I considered going in to order but the door was closed and there was a sign telling us that it was drive through only. Another sign on the menu boards apologised that they would not be able to open up until 1200. Short staffing we thought. So when we came to the usual ordering stand and the screen was off and no one’s voice offered to take our order we assumed this was part of the same staffing issue so carried on along. The first window was closed and when we arrived at the final window we were told that we should have ordered at the order point. We told them it had been off and that there had been no one taking orders but were told they could do nothing for us and the only option was to rejoin the queue and wait a further 40-60 minutes. Staff were completely unhelpful with no suggestions of other options. This store has really let the KFC brand down. Slower than any drive through I have ever visited and very unhelpful staff. Will not be spending my money here for the foreseeable. If you value your time I would suggest avoiding it as well until they can staff if better. Went to this branch of KFC around 8.30 this evening with my family. We ordered at the machines and went to sit down. We were then told after paying and sitting down that we weren't allowed to eat in because 'theyd already cleaned up' . We queried this as all of their opening hours state 10. We said we should have been told this before we paid and had our food however staff were rude and told us we needed to leave because they 'didnt have enough staff to clean up later'. They also told us that HR say the public can't eat in after 9, meaning we were given three vastly different reasons for not being able to eat in. We were consistently met with rudeness and lack of understanding at every stage of this event. We asked to speak to the manager multiple times and were told they were on a call. We asked for the manager on shifts name so we could do something about this later and were ignored. Overall the staff at this branch made our experience awful and upsetting due to their rude behaviour and lack of customer service skills. We completely understand that sometimes restaurants clean up early or different aspects of the restaurant close at different times but this was out of order. There was no information about any different closing times than what is on Google. How can a customer be blamed for wanting to eat in when there is nothing saying...
