KFC Newton Aycliffe - A167 — Restaurant in England

100% the worst kfc I’ve ever been to, went in there between half 9 and 10 and was the only person in there, I tried to look for the deal they were offering, so went on the computer screens and couldn’t find it so decided to walk over to the counter, after 5 to 10 minutes of no one coming to me I decided to go back to the computer screen and eventually found the deal on offer, mini fillet burger popcorn chicken and chips £2.99, on then placing an order for myself and my missus I stood there for over 20 minutes before a young girl passed me my order and said sorry about the wait with a somewhat smirk has if she couldn’t give two hoots, so after all that I thought at least the food should be freshly cooked and piping hot, which to be honest my missus 3 piece of chicken were but for £5.49 they were tiny pieces of chicken, then for me to start eating my food which was stone cold and my mini fillet burger had no lettuce on, I think is one pee take to much, if I wasn’t so far away from home I would of returned the food but like the staff I...

Firstly, I should say the food was fine - except the corn on the cob side is wrapped in an impeneterable wrapper. However, my 'issue' is with training or common sense (unsure which was missing). Went thru the drive thru and stopped at the order point screen which had a message saying it was 'out of order'. Therefore drove to the 1st window to be waved on to the next window (the payment/collection window) by a masked (and therefore unidentifiable) member of staff. Got to that window after waiting for someone who was clearly placing his/her order, making payment and waiting for their food. When I got there I was informed I would have to drive around again and place my order at the order point. Second time around the message on screen still stated it was out of order but a voice then offered to take my order. If you got on an aeroplane and the food trays were filthy, would you be confident the engines were...

Been a few times now, usually pretty nice food, happy to go again 😀

However, one member of staff, a lady, apparently runs the floor (so she says) had quite the attitude when I skipped the order window in the drive through as it looked to have frozen , I had waited 15 mins in the que prior and when i got to the window it seems she was looking for an argument with the poor attitude she was showing.

Never got to order this time around and ended up leaving as the que was even bigger but she could have understood the situation it was genuine and she was rude.

The fact that she "runs the floor" makes me laugh

Updated to a 1 star, this place just can not get a order correct. Simple stuff. Zero Fs given by the staff in this KFC, just read the reviews, says it all...
