Read moreDespite being fairly recently refurbished, this restaurant still feels like it is not cared for. The front door does not close properly, and there are multiple menu screens that are obviously defective. Trying to scan the QR code for the KFC app virtually never works, which results in a laborious and annoying process of reading out your number, while the other staff are screaming out codes for the multiple delivery drivers who are clustered around the counter, ignoring all attempts at social distancing. Basically, if you are a walk-in customer, you will be treated with contempt, and made to wait, while the staff prioritise the delivery orders. Even worse, at least 50% of the time, the order will be incorrect, usually a missing gravy. Staff are usually quite indifferent or even borderline rude when a complaint is raised. I could go on and on, but it's futile. In short, this is definitely the worst KFC in the world. Despite many attempts to report this, nothing is ever done. Considering that the menu comprises of about four main ingredients, it's difficult to understand how the staff cannot get the food out in a reasonable time, or get the orders correct. Had an appalling experience in here yesterday.
I was refused some of my change as they didn't have small coins in their till, 10p was the smallest!
I should have got £4.64 but they were asking me to take £4.60
Staff told me:
"...we never have change."
"..I've done this several times today and people didn't complain..." meaning cheating people out of their change.
Devon , who I thought was the manager/ supervisor and gave her permission to be named, is like our former pm, a human hand grenade.
After the staff eventually gave me sufficient change (£4.70) I was told by Devon that I could have my money back, leave and be barred
All for asking for my change!
