Extremely busy and only a few staff to do the jobs on Christmas day. The manager there (Ali) was unhelpful and had no work ethic.
I ordered and in these senators he didn't complete any of my requests:
1-I ordered my first order and wanted to redeem my free 🌯 wrap, he just told me the system don't work, and didn't try to do anything from his side to help me with it. I could see that I was able to redeem it but he REFUSED to try to help so I had to buy a full price wrap.
2-after my first order I went back to order again,so I scanned my QR code and selected a meal for one (£2.99) ((deal at the time on the app))+ dip (£0.50) so after spending more than £3 you are entitled to have your students Offer. I have done this many times with different branches and no one had a problem serving me, This time the manager (Ali) REFUSED to serve nor speak to me after I asked him why can't you give me the students Offer , his defence was that it's not on the system, but I know for a fact that they can do this. After that he refused to help me he looked away and asked for another customer to come forward and serve them, basically ignoring me entirely.
That is no way to treat a loyal customer who knows better than you what you can and can't do. lying to a customer is the worst thing you can do.
He didn't just lie, he ignored and laughed when I said I will write a bad...
Read moreIf I could give a zero review I would. We stopped here for a quick break and some food on a 5 hour journey. It was Boxing Day and not busy at all. We decided to try KFC and regretted it very quickly. My husband had a chicken burger which was edible but my 2 piece meal was overdone, dry and the chips were lukewarm. The tables were filthy despite no other customers and at least 3 staff behind the counter. The server looked like he hadn’t washed in days. I’d also ordered gravy but they had no paper plates or cutlery available so I was expected to use it as a dip but it was when I tasted it that I knew something was wrong. It tasted rank and when I checked the lid, it was out of date by 2 days. I went to the counter and explained to the server that it was out of date and he glared at me and said “well what does it taste like”. I told him it didn’t taste right and wasn’t very nice and that I’d like a new gravy that was in date. He then handed me one with the date of Boxing Day and that didn’t taste right either but due to his previous response I didn’t feel I could complain again. He didn’t even apologise and made out that it was me. Very unprofessional. Considering I got campylobacter from another KFC about 10 years ago, I’m surprised I was brave enough to try it again but I won’t ever waste my money...
Read moreI've not been to Toddington services for some years. We needed to stop on the M1, and this was the next services. Gosh, I wished we'd driven on by. The eating area was filthy. No chairs, mostly just dirty tables without any chairs. The floors were covered with food remains, empty packaging, the area was small for the numbers of people around and so noisy. KFC and Burger King serving food, Burger King had few people around, nit a good advert. Whilst at KFC, there must have been over 30 to 50 people trying to order from the machines and the counters. People said they had been waiting for ages. The baby change area was better, at least clean. we had a seven week old baby with us. , although the change area had been cleaned but was wet. We bought our food from the M & S shop. Nicely packaged meal deals for £5.50 each. A sandwich, with a cold drink and a bag of crisps. I'll drive past Toddington in the future, though. Toddington Services requires...
