KFC High Wycombe - Wycombe Retail Park — Restaurant in England

Worst experience I had in this store that I goto frequently. I was met with communications barrier with an employee at the counter. It took me several attempts to let her know what I wanted. The first sentence goes over her head and I needed to repeat. I thought I only get this from a 7 year old child. Anyways, we wait for our order number to appear on the screen. We had our eyes peeled and the order came up momentarily but then disappeared! We noticed something was wrong since other orders came afterwards. We went to the counter and asked them what happened to our order. They go back and find the order but they seem hesitant ie not sure. Of course no apologies of any kind. I asked why our number did not appear on the screen. They looked at me with a blank face. I wasn't waiting around for a response. This was not the worst of it. We were feeling so hungry we got two pieces out and low and behold we were in salt land. Digging ourselves out of the salt that destroyed any lives of the chicken. I wanted to spit out the food. The decision was unanimous, the chicken was well overdosed with salt. I had a good mind to go back and return it but I was convinced to just let it pass. And so I did, The very last time I will be coming...

Absolutely appalling service! Long wait to order, then long wait to receive the order. The server hardly spoke any English, he could not understand what I was ordering and vice versa, and made mistakes. I took the food on to the table to discover that our son's almost entire meal (that I paid for) and sauces were missing. Had to go back, and wait again. Pineapple sticks were out of stock (I was not even offered a choice, the server just selected it) - no replacement offered. They said that they gave us extra fries as a substitute - there were not enough fries with our meals, let alone extras! The filets were dry and fries were not hot. The toilets are absolutely beyond filthy. Rubbish bins overflowing, tables and floor dirty. The place wasn’t even busy at all by the time we left, yet, they had enough staff behind the counter so no excuse for being short of staff. This place is a joke, we won't be...

I would have given this a no-star rating had that been an option! I visited yesterday at 8pm and was confronted by a huge queue! I finally left at 8.49pm and my order had still not been taken!!! Somebody whose ordered had been taken was still waiting for his food half an hour later!! There seemed to be food coming from the kitchen and there was one server who was working flat out. However, there were two other servers who were just standing around? When I complained about there being nobody to take my order and the two people in front of me and the many behind me, she more or less shrugged her shoulders and could offer neither explanation or help. I was appalled and I left, along with several other people in the queue who had heard my conversation. I cannot understand why the manager of this takeaway/cafe can allow...
