I don't normally leave negative reviews but this KFC must be avoided at all cost. Our experience from the start was awful, we placed our order via the app for a drive through collection. When my partner arrived the drive through was blocked by a large lorry, which is fine but also defeats the purpose of having a drive through. Inside the store the staff were uninterested and unhelpful. It was a large family order so my partner kindly asked a member of staff to help her carry the bags and drinks to her car outside. They refused and asked her to do a couple trips, now I am pretty sure that they were aware of the drive through situation but still refused to help a pregnant woman. When my partner arrived home I noticed one of the drinks was missing, so I started to check the order to find 8 items were missing in total. We immediately called the restaurant and spoke to the manager who offered to send the missing items to our house. But 7 minutes later he calls back and asks us to come back and pick the items up. As you can imagine we were infuriated by this and he didn't even offer us a partial refund. My partner couldn't wait anymore and we decided to eat our food but unfortunately it only got worse. The chicken was soggy and under cooked, the chips were so cold it seemed like they had been out all day, the wrap was tasteless and had no salad and some of the wings tasted like 2 week old oil. We tried to complain again but the manager was unwilling to help or empathise. Not sure if I have missed anything out but this was the worst KFC I have ever ordered from and recommend anyone thinking of placing order here to think twice. Read moreExtremely disappointed! Item was missing from our order so I was waiting for the first lady who was already serving us to put it in the tray as I waited at the pick up counter. She had started to make someone else's take out order. I tried to approach her and she told me to go to the back of the queue. I understand they get busy but at least finish serving the customer you are already serving. My second tray of food came and I had no drink and once again the lady was making another customers order. So I approached her again but she ignored me. I spoke to a lady called Razia who aggressively said I'm making it. If I was told that another staff member is continuing my order by all means I would understand but I wasn't. Razia was making a very very unpleasant horrible face ,rolling eyes and mumbling something I and another customer in front of her can very clearly see this. I felt very embarrassed and uncomfortable. I went to the counter to get something so I asked a colleague of hers (who had a stubble beard ) what her name is his answer was" oh I'm new I don't know her name" I had been counter few times so I heard him and laughing with her and calling her name I just wanted to confirm so I don't complain about the wrong lady. We had a order issue and the guy that refunded our money for the missing other items he was the only friendly staff ( tall slim guy) sorry couldn't get your name but thank you for your help. The issue is they dont complete orders but call out the customer numbers and then customers have items missing which is not fair other food would get cold just trying to get one missing item and no one would be happy being told to wait in the queue again. Read moreCompletely understand why there is such a low review of this establishment. Went to the front to order as I like a more personal touch due to not finding what I want on the kiosk many a time. Have never had a problem with this with the wig more branch, the staff are happy to serve either way via the till or kiosk. Apparently customer service is not a priority however in this case.
I would also like to add that there are no beard nets or hair nets seen on the premises and having multiple years of experience in hospitality can say this is a violation especially with long beards. In any other kitchen or establishment it’s practically mandatory.
Got right to the front only to be told sorry use the kiosk. Asked what the difference was only to be told no, if I get stuck and only when then will be assisted, something missing from the sign quite clearly. I’m not quite sure where the issue was because said person then proceeded to walk around doing nothing whilst placing my order and waiting for it chatting while the ladies at the front did the actual work. After all this the chicken was not even as crispy compared to wigmore. Will avoid coming here...
