What a great find! We arrived 8.45am Saturday morning... To a fairly typical older style open airy (plenty of seating) roadside cafe.
Receiving a pleasant welcome we ordered coffee and a teacakes each....
In the time it took me to walk next door to Londis/petrol station and back for paracetamol the coffees and teacakes arrived....
Teacakes we're fresh and tasty with real butter... The coffee was dark roast good tasting and perfect strength.
Value was excellent, other establishments easily £3-5 more.
Casting an eye over the menu... Bearing in mind everything is freshly cooked, it was very good value.
Other reviews criticing value surely cannot be comparing like for like.
When I popped next door for the paracetamols the londis fuel stop included a Starbucks and Greggs, why on earth would anyone consider pre packed, long shelf life produce?

Been a regular for over 20 years. Went in today and asked for a Big Breakfast with half and half on beans and tinned tomatoes rather than a normal size portion of just one or the other. The girl (not the owner) told me that I had to pay 25p extra for both. Tried to explain I did not want extra just a small spoon of each. She still tried to charge me 25p telling me they had been doing that for ages. Well I have never been charged 25p for half and half there so I cancelled my order and will not be eating there...

A fantastic cafe run by very friendly staff, amazing food, very clean and well looked after... I sat and had a breakfast made specifically for my allergies as I'm allergic to eggs.. it was perfect with the added touch of being able to watch the sunrise was just stunning. Thanks let's eat will definitely be back.. love the fact they source there food locally and are a local business not a chain... very popular to truckers but also to people living nearby or...
