Love Masala — Restaurant in England

Really disappointed. We have been told the food here is fabulous from friends and so finally tried it and was really dissatisfied. Chicken chat was lovely but popadom was soggy. We ordered a dopiaza and butter chicken and received two dopiazas. After my girlfriend calling them to ask if we could collect a butter chicken the staff asked her to repeat the story to a few staff members to then be told the two dishes were very similar and that we had a butter chicken. We know the difference between the dishes and after she explained this to him he continued to say it was fine. Finally after asking , "what she wanted him to do about it" she asked if we could come and get our actual order. He then told us that we had to return the dishes and pick up the chicken. At this point we had had enough and I told him we were very disappointed in the customer service and it had ruined our evening treat. What a find!! I count myself as somewhat of an expert in Indian takeaways. Having tried approximately 20 within at 15 miles radius of Chester recently. All the usual sides ordered and main being Chicken Tikka vindaloo. Most places have long since stopped serving vindaloo with any semblance of heat however, I asked these to add some heat into it for me and they did. This was my second visit and like the first I can't fault the service or quality of the meal.

Really friendly staff when you go in to collect it. I will definitely be back for a 3rd visit and 4th and 5th and so on.

I decided on an Indian take away after a hard day at work and though I would give Love Masala I tri instead of my usual Indian in Chester city centre on city road . I ordered onion bhajjes for a starter whiz were delicious however I ordered a chicken madras and it resembled everything but a chicken madras ! Half a dozen pieces of chicken in a red sauce which was bland and had no flavour whatsoever ! Will I be returning no chance has to pop out again and buy another take away meal from my local Chinese in Westminster park which...
