Saltney Tavern — Restaurant in Wales

The Tavern is used for a community venue mainly with music venues, which are well supported. A slimming world venue is set from the main events room. The bars seem to be used on a regular basis. Unfortunately, the venue is very old and doesn't look like it's been updated for decades. It has an old, musty smell of old cigarettes and alcohol. The carpark has so many potholes. It would and is a hassidard at night leaving the venue. It seems the tavern is well used and supported, but updating and refurbishment are not high on the agenda and also hard to use for...

Nice little local. Must be a member.. easy to become one.. staff behind the bar are really nice. Mags. nia. Ian... very friendly. Cheap drinks.. smoking area that is sheltered. Clean.. seperate bar area for quieter evening Function room available . Karaoke nights. Pool tables. Dart board.. large...

S People there are really friendly and the service is quite quick. Nice place for a venue. The only downside is that they obviously don't know where the heating switch is because when I went it was extremely cold and there were a lot of mature people in there still wearing thick heavy coats...
