McDonald's — Restaurant in England

Saturday 09.04.2022 at about 14:10 at Mc Donald's Sherborne Road Yeovil I waited 5 min looking at my order ready for pick up on the table but nobody paid attention to me to give me the package to pick it up. At a time a lady (manager) appeared and I ask her to give me the package showing at the same time the phone screen with the order number. She asked me on a quarrelsome manner to tell her the number even she clearly saw my phone screen in her eyes. Then she told me I DID NOT SAY PLEASE! I said sorry maybe I forgot to say "please" even I usually say "please" but I did not want to be impolite anyway. I make complaint against this quarrelsome and incompetent lady (manager) who showed obvious bad will and made me be late with my order (finally I did not deliver the order late). I make this complaint in the situation when I and other riders wait too many times very long at Mc Donald's Sherborne Road Yeovil and the packages with drinks are always wrong packed making the delivery unsafe impossible to be under control (the rider can not control the glasses wrong packed in the paper bag sealed). They always breach the contract with Uber, always they treat deliveries shallow with lack of staff, but the lady manager from Mc Donald's Sherborne Road don't give order to pick up claiming "PLEASE" after 5 minutes waiting somebody to see me to give me my ready order! In response to my feedback and complaint I've got an unfair negative feedback from the lady manager at Mc Donald's Sherborne Road after more than a year and 2 months with high rating and no one negative feedback from restaurants. All staff at the restaurants in Yeovil know me as a respectful and disciplined rider! Please check your managers competence and take in account that an unfair feedback affects your rating and...

What is wrong with this McDonald's? Why can they not make it work? I don't understand, they have a new 'restaurant' but they just mess up the orders far too many times. Half the time they don't have items available and when they do it comes out cold or wrong! Such a shame. Oh and the staff! They honestly do not want to be there, they don't really care enough to get it right! I know it's "only McDonald's" but come on, get a grip guys, it's not rocket science! The McDonald's model has been going for a very long, so they should have it right by now.

Edit: I have now taken this McDonald's down to 1 star, just for the simple fact of all of the above with the additional, rude staff. I thought I would give this place another try, and my god, it is abysmal. It has got worse, if that could even be possible. Its as though they have put the rudest, most arrogant people they could find and put them in charge! They couldn't pay me to go back here. Not even for a coffee as they can't even get that right! What an absolute dive! My advice, drive that little further across town and visit the only McDonald's that really should be in Yeovil on lysander road. They actually care about good service. Unlike flussing meadow, that deserves the name, as it should be...

Waited 30 minutes for my food only to be told they had never received my order. I had ordered from the touch menu and had the receipt in my hand and my number was up to be collected on the screen. Refused to give me my food and asked if I wanted a refund instead. Horrific customer service skills, the guy with the pink hair made me feel like a liar and adressed me very rudely, went to get the manager and he apologised to the manager because they had to come and refund me. Manager apologised but it was the most rude apology I've ever had, may has well have told me to f off. Many people who are obviously staff members not on shift were walking in and out of the kitchen area chatting and touching all the items. One man was leaning over the till putting his own order in, then when he got his mountain of food almost immediately, the pink haired staff member brought him another bag of food and said, "don't tell anyone I've given you this". Meanwhile I'm standing with no food at all and a hungry child. Dirty tables everywhere, rubbish all over the floor. Absolutely disgusting and will never ever be going there again.
