I cannot praise this fast food experience highly enough loving the ethos. Look up online articles to read about the recycled keyboards to build part of it, the rainwater to flush the toilets and the wind turbines for power. Their service has truly improved in speed. Usual decent quality fayre (we tend to have wraps or chicken burgers as a rule.) They can arrive loaded with salad which is great for myself (not so unhealthy then!) To my taste the cappuccino is far too strong with a tendency to be bitter. Fine with added milk. There needs to be more staff at the counter and a way of self service for stirrers, sugar, serviettes and milk hopefully. Maccies organic milk is impressive. Yes, we do live in Maccies wherever we travel. Terrific detail even down to the coffee bean wall art: how original. This is our new favourite McDonald's. Comfortable banquettes would be great. I have seen an improvement in the past few months, now it is becoming a well oiled machine speedwise. Very friendly staff, pleasant conversation which is incredibly appreciated. There is a decent children's climbing frame with small rockers. Children could benefit from a wider play area however it is attached to the restaurant so the young ones may hopefully be under parental observation. Ample toilet facilities. Love the long, elegant sink trough. Classier than some hotels. Caution, watch the speed fiends who accelerate exiting the drive thru'. There may be pedestrians. It is particularly bad late night with the visibility. There will be an accident. For people's safety, especially the more infirm or unsteady, coupled with children, dogs as well; personally I would curtail the idiots' driving with the use of speed humps. What a pity people are so irresponsible. Nature garden fenced off circling the land in tandem with a local school so a terrifically clever community joint project. Personally I would struggle to find a fault. To improve on the coffee would help. I think it is a...
Ā Ā Ā Read more9 times out of 10 the order is wrong. Waited 30 minutes in a drive through que at Market Drayton tonight. No advance warning that they do some kind of system re boot at midnight in every outlet. This would explain why after getting in a que at the Shrewsbury Battlefield drive through we were unable to order. No clear explanation only that we had to order in store. If only we hadn't been trapped in a drive through que there . A complete flaw in their drive through system that allows you in but you can't get out until you have gone all the way around. And why for the life of me cant the staff tell the cars to move into a parking space. A car that came in after us was able to reverse out. We were not able, we just had to sit there and hope the cars in front of us would move.one got its order and drove off, the other just pulled forward to the first window. Why not direct them to the second window so the cars behind that were not able to place an order could leave.40 minutes plus tonight in drive through ques.THE FOOD IS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. the food was not for me. So irritated by this latest episode I will never enter another McDonald's as...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely grim! McDonaldās need to address their franchises. And their own complaints policy and procedures. Machine out of paper and no order number to go with. 19 orders one grill chef, really didnāt know what she was doing, nor did the second serving. Manager and āher crewā were ignoring the front cleaner whilst chatting amongst themselves and a non purchasing manager of public. Filthy dirty, inner cupboard shelves blown mdf, thereās no point using hygiene spray on absorbent surfaces. Kitchen surfaces were equally filthy, staff were shambolic, food was burnt, hash browns and coffee both stiff and cold, toilets filthy, Manager was disrespectful to the first degree. Totally disregarded my honest and genuine complaint, then got ānastyā, effectively taking the Mickey. I videoed but all contain expletives from me, so I wonāt post. Iām an involuntarily retired former chef with an unblemished hygiene record. Finally, exiting the car park which was littered and equally filthy, not de-iced, too sharp a...
