Ordered via Uber Eats for home delivery and assume order came from here as closest to delivery point. Order was for 4 people, including 1 happy meal with squishmallow toy for visiting grandson. No issues ordering via Uber and the overall delivery process. Order was delivered at the specified time. Secure in taped up bag. That's where the good points finished and where the negative ones begin. The food was luke warm at best. Realised on opening up the order and sitting down to eat, it was missing all 3 x sauces from meals and also the fruit shoot drink from the happy meal. Checked the Uber order and it wasn't my error. Also checked the ticket on the food bag and all the missing items were listed as required so entirely complacency by Mcdonalds. It was a weekday lunchtime order not a weekend, nor was it a complicated order. Really hard to get wrong. Other reviews indicate missing items are not uncommon. Very poor service as the order was pulled together. At over ÂŁ30 for the order and paying a service charge for the incomplete order, it was a very disappointing experience. No option to remove service charge for receiving part order to compensate for missing items. Would not use Mcdonalds again for delivery as you cannot guarantee to get what you are paying for. If you are ordering and eating in restaurant you have control of what is in your order and return to counter of anything is missing. In future i will order similar elsewhere and put a pocket money toy in a bag to keep the grandson...
Read moreOnly giving 1 star as 0 stars is not an option. I went into this place and ordered my food to sit down in the restaurant with my 9 year old daughter and 4 year old son. We went to wash our hands only to find there was no toilets or hand washing facilities. When I brought this up with the shift manager that this is against health and hygiene regulations when running an eat in restaurant she replied I know and I Am sorry. When I confronted her about the regulations she told me it had been like this for over 24 hours. How can a franchise of such stature as McDonaldâs not be able to get toilets unblocked within that period? When my food arrived my burger was stone cold like it had been sat in the refrigerator. I then couldnât let my 4 year old son have his drink with his food to save him the embarrassment of needing the toilet and not being able to hold it in. I then heard the staff who was just standing on the shop floor talking with friends who didnât even work there about my complaint and laughing about it. This is not a laughing matter. This is by far the worst establishment that I have ever visited and would definitely give it a wide birth! No toilets or washing facilities, rude staff and cold and poor food hygiene on top of this still operating as a full restaurant. If this is all going on in plain sight on the shop floor then what is going on...
Read moreStopped for a rest break on a long journey. Ordered 2 large fries and some nuggets. It was quiet, with a few deliveroo drivers waiting (and reaching over the counter and rummaging through the bags of food, which was really quite gross). It took about 15 mins to get my food after watching a stream of delivery drivers who arrived after me get theirs first - so there's clearly a priority!
I mentioned it earlier but the delivery drivers hang around at the place where you go to collect your food, they don't move when numbers are called, and any time a bag of food is put down there, they are opening the bag and rooting through it with their hands! This is disgusting, and I've never seen this anywhere else! The staff didn't seem phased by this and even spoke to the guys occasionally as they were doing it! The bloke in charge was loving berating his employees for irrelevant things like 'making sure the bags are well presented', but was ok with randoms touching customers' food. Sorry to keep drowning on about this but I'm just amazed at what I saw!
Dunno, maybe I'm missing something, but I don't think random delivery drivers (or indeed anyone) should...
