McDonald's — Restaurant in England

I've been to this establishment a few times and although it started off well the Service seems to have deteriorated. Previous time I went my 6 McNuggets were 2 short (I only had 4 in box) but it wasn't worth the time and fuel to go back and complain so I left it and gave them the benefit of the doubt. The last visit (yesterday) I ordered a Double Quarter Pounder but whilst standing in Queue I noticed at least 4 people come in and complain about their orders being wrong so when I got back to my car (in the car park) I checked my order and found only 1 Patty in the Burger so I went back and was told 'we can do you another' I pointed out I wanted the whole order re-done as the other food would be cold but was told 'We'll keep it warm'; not happy with this I asked for a Full Refund which the Manager very reluctantly gave me and was very surly about it. Seems staff need to pay more attention to orders and also learn to count - Probably give it a few months before I go...

Not always perfect, thats the harshest word I have for this place. I have had some of the best McDonald's I've had from this place, a couple of time the food was only quite good, lol, but most of the time the meat is juicy, the bread soft and the fries lovely and crispy. Please Welly McDonald's, keep the good work up and I will keep comming back. The only issue I would say is that you can be slow, but the food is definitely worth the wait.

P.S. in a dilemma the other day, after a 15 hour day, it was 11pm, desperate for dinner, the restaurant was closed and I was in a lorry, so no drive through action for me. Due to covid, they couldn't let me in the restaurant, but thankfully the came up with a way I could pay for and get a meal that was covid safe and didn't break their security rules. McDonald's gone down a lot in past few years across the country, service is horrible, food tastes not so good, chips vere black as if they cooked them in oil they used for year without changing it, took ages to get our order, asked for extra pickles in big Mac and instead received no pickle in it at all! Prices getting a bit expensive, it's not a fast food anymore but more like a proper restaurant where you have to wait till they cook your meal, except in restaurants you get fresh food cooked from scratch for you and not wormed up burgers! I'm disappointed a lot in mcd's in general, so won't be visiting them in future as much, will go to local pubs instead, similar prices but nicer food and staff usually more polite! Kids use to get some nice toys with happy meals, now it's just cardboard rubbish that goes in the bin straight away as kids not interested in playing with it, it's upsetting...
