McDonald's — Restaurant in England

I parked car and at the entrance of the restaurant there was a member of staff that stopped us at the door stating that the IT system for order was down they were rebooting it and that we needed to wait outside and would be 15 mins. I was outside with my 2 children and despite of being cloudy weather was still uncomfortable to wait outside. 15 mins passed and I went to the door and same member of staff told me that was still the same situation. I said that I wasn't happy to wait outside with the children and I don't think was acceptable to ask me that and asked to speak with manager because I wanted to understand his reasoning for letting customers waiting outside uncomfortable with more than half empty restaurant with air con on. That member of staff after my persistency asked help to an another member to manage the situation. The other member of staff authorised us to go inside. There was a play area and was a good way to entertain the kids. 15-20 mins after the orders restarted but member of staff that asked me to wait and was well aware of us didn't bother to communicate that the orders were resolved. Really lack of training, basic education or even caring regarding your staff that I encountered today. Your customer service is hiding behind a big brand that attracts customers but your franchise lacked of ability to manage a problem without disrespecting customers. Next time have the decency of not denning shelter. Having to arguer with your staff just to let me in to sit in a cool area isn't right.

On top of that spotted one of you maintenance staff power washing the road near my car that was parked. I advised not to and he carried on, didn't care at all. No surprises that my black car became all dirty due to the spraying caused by the power washing process. Really no due care to...

Padholme Road McDonald's in Boongate, Peterborough is absolutely smashing it. The food is always hot — not "lukewarm and sad chip" hot, but actual "fresh-out-the-fryer, burn-your-tongue-but-worth-it" hot. Service? Impeccable. The staff are so friendly, it's like they’re trying to adopt you. One young lad who served us the other day deserves a gold star — proper customer service pro. You don't see that kind of enthusiasm much anymore unless someone’s trying to sell you a sofa.

Parking is plentiful, though if you've got a car the size of a tank, expect a bit of a squeeze. The place itself is done up really well — definitely one of the newer, sleek, spaceship-style McDonald's. It's clean, modern, and somehow makes you feel like you're in a futuristic burger haven.

And the best bit? It’s FAST. Like, suspiciously fast. We blinked and our food was on the tray, piping hot. Some McDonald's forget the "fast" in fast food, but this one’s still got it.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I tried to order online orginally as it was 5am but as no delivery drivers i walked as i live 5 to 10 mins away. as a walk in customer I arrived to a homeless man who was camping at the door and because of this McDonald's locked the door stopping anyone from coming in to order UNLESS YOU HAVE A CAR I don't driver due to a disability and told them this they didn't seem to care or want to take my order after I went to the drive-thru window to say this I was told and rudely asked to leave by the manager very poor service and don't care about there customers either. never going McDonald's again and never letting anyone buy me it either after this rude encounter with the manager and all three member of staff that had asked me to leave. You have lost a customer for life and won't even take my kid's nieces or nephews here anymore or to another McDonald's establishment.i would give 0 if I could.
