McDonald's — Restaurant in England

FOOD POISONING - Five of us including two children ate at Fraddon McDonalds after a day at Motocross just up the road, we hadn't eaten anything all day and were very hungry. We all ate burger and chip meals along with a various sides. Around an hour later I felt Ill, two hours later I was being sick, then my girlfriend started being sick just before my son started being sick. Our friend had a very bad stomach all day, and our 3 year old was the only one that didn't get affected. We were laid up for three days, and were in no fit state to work. Contacted McDonalds with clear evidence of food positioning including symptons, we were told that no else has reported reported food poisoning so we dont believe you. However they then accepted the claim, and all they offered a £10 gift voucher which didn't even cover the cost for a refund, another corporate company which the little guy is powerless to take on, declined the refund and wont go...

SAT 24TH OCT 2020. About 2pm. The food was not the issue. The issue was the woman on the door. Unfortunately she let the side down. Her demeanor was at times overbearing and rude. She may have been one of their managers by the way she ordered around other staff members on the floor. But worst of all she spoke rudely to a customer ( a young man and his family) who really didnt do anything. To the point that the young lad who was also doing table service came across and apologised to the family but only when she had gone away. But when the family left. She went on to talk openly to another female colleague, in front of other customers doing the family down. It was highly unprofessional. My partner and I went in for a quick bite on Thursday afternoon. As we were eating, I noticed the lady cleaning (later found out her name was Lynn) . She was on her knees cleaning the bases of the tables and underneath. She paid close attention to everything she was doing and was very thorough, including the mopping. Nothing was missed. I ended up going up to her suggesting she works in a hospital as her level of cleaning would surely help reduce the level of viruses spreading. I asked for the manager (who was super friendly) to pass on my comments and he thanked me and said that they get lots of comments and pride themselves on their cleanliness and friendliness.
