Nestled within the Mediterranean biome, this restaurant offers a delightful escape into a sun-soaked world of vibrant flavors and stunning surroundings.

The ambiance is simply enchanting. Dining amidst olive trees, fragrant herbs, and vibrant bougainvillaea transports you to a Mediterranean paradise. The Med Terrace restaurant is located inside the Mediterranean Biome at the Eden Project and the atmosphere is genuinely lovely - surrounded by beautiful plants and a peaceful vib - but sadly, that’s where the positives end.

I ordered a pizza and it was honestly one of the worst I’ve ever had. The crust was so hard it was difficult to cut, and the sauce was bland with barely any flavour. For a place that could offer such a unique dining experience, the quality of the food was shockingly poor.

Service was just okay—staff weren’t rude, but they weren’t particularly warm or welcoming either. A simple smile or a bit more friendliness would have made a difference. Service was also a bit slow.

Overall, a very underwhelming experience. Such a shame, as the setting has so much potential. If you’re visiting, I’d recommend bringing your own food and enjoying the picnic areas...

Went here for lunch as a family of four based on eating here some years ago, and sadly disappointed with what we got. They initially squeezed the four of us around a tiny table barely fit for two people, and only moved us to a larger table when we asked. Staff levels were too low for the number of customers.

Worst, the paella was a sad example of 'skimpflation'. The menu claims it comes "with Cornish seafood" but this amounted to a single shriveled mussel on top. On top of this, the rice was overcooked into porridge, making it so bad that three out of the four of us couldn't finish it. This is not what you want for £15 a plate!

Overall, we would not waste our money...

I have Never eaten lunch inside of a Biome before and I was so glad to get this experience at the Eden Project! I was drawn in by the impressive Menu, suitable for a Mediterranean Climate inside the Biome, which was then topped by the Authentic Italian pizza served at this restaurant! I wasn't expecting the Eden Project to have something like this, but when I saw this once in a lifetime opportunity I had to grab the chance to eat a Delicious Pizza inside of a Biome accompanied by a refreshing local Cornish lager, which if course, I would also recommend!
