Stopped here for a quick bite on the way through to Oswestry. Ordered 2 baps and 2 hot drinks which was slightly more expensive than other places, especially since it was only instant coffee. Nevertheless it was acceptable and served in mugs. The food, when it arrived was hot, fresh and tasty. Large bap with two slices of bacon and an egg, cooked well. However, the reason for only 3 stars was the wait which was well over 45 minutes. The people served directly before us received their food, ate it and left and we still had nothing. This in itself not overly a problem as these things happen. They were busy and it's easy to overlook something. What really let them down was the lack of apology or acknowledgment of any kind that they had messed up. I ordered a second tea and enquired where the food was as we had waited so long but was met with indifference and the...

Great parking, plenty of tarmac. The ladies greeted us as soon as we walked in the door, they were friendly and really helpful. No problem swapping items on the breakfast. Breakfast was really good value, comes with toast and a tea or coffee ( instant, but you can upgrade to a "proper" coffee for £1) my veggie breakfast had veggie sausages, halloumi , hash browns plus all the usual 😋. His meaty one was good as well. Seating inside and lots outside. There is a serving hatch onto the decking for those just having a drink and butties. Nice grass area and picnic bit. Loos are not part of the cafe but not far, not the best but not the worst! Loads of bikers stopping for a pit stop and meet up....

Cafe was good but pricey and service a little slow but a lovely place to stop. Toilets need to be upgraded they are very poor quality may of got a five star but for those. Update, toilets now improved and though not the best are worth a visit to see the unusual urinals (sadly never thought to take pic) they are like a pedal bin that has been cut down the middle but the full bottom left on then attached high up the wall, I had to stand on tip toes in order to have a pee, anyone less than my 5 foot 6 (1605cm) is going to seriously struggle. Though fortunately there are cubicles with toilet bowls that have had new seats...

There is one BIG problem with this cafe! It’s not close enough to me (although this is probably a good thing). We stopped here on the way home from Snowdon, and it’s one of the best cafes we’ve stopped at (being bikers, that’s a lot) PERFECTLY cooked, not fatty, great portions, tea was still hot when it came out. Good value, friendly staff, great place to chill for a bit. Highly recommended.

Rested at this little gem on the way back from Wales. New ownership since a month, be sure to support them as this was the best rest stop we had driving from Holland. Nice and clean, very friendly and generous on the meal sizes. Fairly priced burger (that tastes ten times better than your average American motorway joint). Finally coffee to go also fine!

On the way home from North Wales. Fancied a breakfast. Pulled over here. Nice spot with picnic benches.. The cafe is clean and the staff are very friendly. Service was good. Ordered the big breakfast. Food was at my table in 10 mins. The food was hot and tasty. Would recommend to anybody. Quite a big menu. Will be going again.
