I've only given this cafe 2 stars on the basis that we did actually get what we ordered, although we were in the minority, otherwise it would have been one star. Food took 32 minutes to arrive. And it's not cheap either. What is pictured here is a Create Your Own breakfast - every single item costs 99p and there's nine items on that plate. A slice of toast, 99p. A single mushroom, 99p. You get the idea. That breakfast cost me £8.91 plus £1.59 for a black coffee. My food arrived on a normal plate, although I'm not sure about the size of that bowl with the beans in. My wife's breakfast arrived on something that looked like you'd stand a plant pot on. The guy sat opposite, and this is no word of a lie, his cooked breakfast arrived in a large bowl. I've never seen anything like it! The people sat to our right had an item missing (they got a refund for it). The woman behind us cancelled her order and got a refund because she was fed up waiting. Half an hour and her toasted teacake hadn't arrived. The people across the aisle had a problem with their order too, but I couldn't hear what it was, but it took a lot of discussion. So, everyone around us had a problem with their order. The place wasn't particularly busy either. Basically, this place is dire and I strongly advise avoiding it. And Morrisons management, if you ever read these reviews, you need to send in a mystery shopper or an undercover boss. Please, do something! This place doesn't need to be as bad as it is.

Very poor. Opened 30 minutes late, due to there being only one member of staff. Management need to get this sorted. No issues at all with the lady who served us she was very good. Both coffee machines were broken, instant coffee was available, but this is not coffee. Worst of all several lights were "strobing" which I'm certain could be a problem with some people. Service scored low due to under staffing.

Awful! We called in here on a Friday morning, it wasn't busy, perhaps another 3 couples already seated. We used the self service machine to order 2 small breakfasts with sauce sachets, a tea and a coffee. No receipts available. Went to the coffee machines but they were out of order. Told coffee is free today and to use the instant coffee they had provided. We said great thanks but we've paid for coffee. Eventually got a refund for that. When our food arrived it was SO disappointing! We've eaten many supermarket breakfasts over the years, including here, but this was the worst ever! Was warm but not hot. Toast was the thinnest white bread I've ever seen, with little to no butter on it. Sausage was thin and quite pathetic looking, bit dried out. The tomato was barely cooked. And the bacon...wow...the sole of my shoe would have been less chewy! It was so overcooked I couldn't even cut it! Oh, and there was actually bottles of sauce on the table, even though we'd paid for them. Had to ask for the brown sauce we'd paid for as there wasn't any provided. When my partner complained about the bacon, the guy apologised and walked away and never came back! I'm afraid we won't be going back and definitely won't be recommending...

Visited this Morrisons cafe today to grab some lunch for myself, partner and two children. We sat down on arrival and looked through the menu and decided what we all wanted. We then went to the serving counter and dispensed our drinks and made our way to the till. On arriving at the till there was a small note saying no chips or jacket potatoes. This left us stumped as all our meals had chips on! We asked what replacement they had and the cashier stated it was mash or hash browns. We reluctantly choose hash browns and mash for the kids as at this point we had already dispensed our drinks and we had a que behind us! Hash browns and lasagne isn’t a ideal combination and the mash was rubbery. I understand that things can break down or maybe run out of stock but I think in future it would be a good idea to put a notice near the entrance of the cafe instead of letting people get to the till to then be told that a popular item on the menu is not available. If we new this was the case before entering the cafe we wouldn’t have visited but felt obliged as we had already...
