This was a lovely tea room in a great location, perfect for a visit after a walk in the New Forest. We ordered a lavender scone each with cream and jam, a latte for me and tea for my husband. When the latte came it looked a little odd with a foamy top (no rose as the previous review mentioned!) and it didn't taste very nice. I didn't want my scone to go cold so persevered with it but it really wasn't nice so I went in to ask for a cup so I could have some of my husbands tea to take the taste away. I asked how they made it and discovered it's a powder!! Sorry, but a latte for £3.50 should be made with coffee beans and milk. I hate to think what chemicals were in it to make the foamy top. However, they apologised and happily brought me out a pot of tea instead. Overall, a lovely lunch stop, the scone was delicious, and the staff really lovely and kind. However, if, like me you love your coffee, do not order one here!

We were delighted to find this tea room not far from where we were staying; nestled within a sweet garden centre, the café is cosy, homey, and smells — as you might guess — of lavender. There's lots of seating and did fill up by 11am, so you may want to reserve to be safe. Food and service were exemplary — we've never had a better bacon roll before! Their cakes were just as tasty; coffee was good enough for seconds. ☕🍰 The people working there were all so friendly and sweet — we would love to return! 🌿

Heard the was a great place to visit and wasn't disappointed, gardens are beautiful and great value at £6 entrance and tea room have a small but nice menu, was busy on day we went but had eat quickly as most tables either full or had timed reserved signed on them. The only real down side is there are only 2 toilets so had to que, also didn't see any baby changing facilities.

I had visited 3 times last month treating family members... on our visit last week our lunch order wasn't put through, we therefore waited over an hour for our food.. human error, so not a problem, really, as we were in no rush. However, we didn't get an apology! When our food did arrive I asked for an extra butter portion, to which I was told 'only if you pay for it, we charge for extra butter' That's fair enough, but I would have thought they could have at least given a small portion of butter, seeing as we had eaited so long. . But hey ho! Also, the staff are pleasant but they...
