We were staying just along the road on holiday so made a visit here on our last day. The bacon sarnies were delicious and the homemade cakes were amazing! Lots of cakes to choose from, we shared lemon drizzle and courgette and lime cake which was so good! A really lovely tea room, gallery and shop definitely recommend and very reasonably priced. The staff were all really friendly and helpful too we sat outside in the sunshine and they brought us out cushions for our chairs which was so nice of them. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing!

Very nice, ambient, and cosy place, even has a logburner in it. The drinks are good, and I had a slice of chocolate cake. It was delicious. It's not too sweet and not too dry, really nice. Stuff is very polite and welcoming. As well as serving snacks/ small meals, hot and cold drinks, and cakes, the place does sell some products of locals ( as I understood it), including honey, teas, spices, handmade goods, cards etc. It's great to have a place like old school gallery in the village, not another costa!

Excellent cafe. I had a large plate of broccoli and stilton soup, OH had bacon and egg sandwich. Tasty cakes, good coffee, nice staff, clean loo. We were cycling from Oborne and found this place on the Internet. The Facebook page made it clear it was open and offering food. Busy with locals. It's clear this cafe is professionally managed. Turned up to too many places to find they are closed, very annoying.

First time called in this café having found on google maps and extremely pleasant find. Under new ownership june 23 and what a delightful team. Henrietta and gene and the rest of the staff made us so welcome; even though near closing they made us a late lunch and the coffee is great. We didn’t try cakes but they look gorgeous. They have some sophie allport gifts, beautiful wool rugs and to my delight stock bread making supplies which I couldn’t find in the supermarkets. They are pet friendly and made a fuss of ours. Although it’s summer i can’t wait to call by in winter too as it’s such a pleasant place to be. Beautiful fabrics everywhere including the seating, making the whole ambience a treat. Also the perfect stop off on walks which pass by the café or coffee/catch up after the school run. They even sell doggy ice cream. I wish this team well in their new venture as they certainly value their guests and deserve to flourish. We’ll be in again soon, thx all for such a...

We had noticed posts appear on Facebook from the Old School Gallery, but had never been to Yetminster before and were curious to find out more. From the moment we opened the door, we were warmly greeted by Alex and the team, as well as other diners and were made to feel very much at home. The lunch menu was superb, with an extensive list of tempting hearty and unusual soups, quiches etc. I opted for the falafel curry with rice which was delicious. Throughout the meal, Alex, her Mum and Team were very attentive and the atmosphere of the Old School Gallery was incredible. I was tempted to a piece of flapjack - no ordinary flapjack and highly recommended. What an incredible find! We need to return very soon and wish all at the Old School Gallery the very best as they...

What a great place. Very friendly and nothing seems to much trouble. We went in with the intention of having a cream tea, coffee in our case, but ended up having a light lunch finished off with a piece of cake and a coffee. A really good choice from the menu and plenty for vegetarias and vegans. How they manage to get the variety of food out and in a timely fashion from such a compact kitchen remains a mystery. If you are in the vicinity and in need of quality food and drink, hot or cold, make the detour, you won't regret it. As a bonus, it doubles as a retailer of original quality arts and crafts along with home...
