Stopped off in Lilliput this morning for breakfast (eat in). Ordered Bacon Sandwich, BLT, and drinks (Tea and Cappuccino). Food arrived, noted it was busy with tae aways but still had an expectation that our drinks would arrive with our Food.

We'd eaten our very good sandwiches and the drinks still nowhere to be seen so I went to the til to ask when the drinks would arrive.....was given a very curt reply, "we will bring them across, we are busy"....no apology at that stage !!! Drinks arrived as did the apology, but honestly that should have been offered at the time of questioning the delay. I did not appreciate the initial curt response... not what I'd expect of an eatery of this quality.

We will try Christchurch / Ashley Cross where the service matches the quality of the food on...

Popped in for coffee and cake yesterday with 4 girlfriends. No table service and nowhere to stand at the front to order, very cramped. 5 staff working but tables were stacked with used coffee cups and plates. One customer decided to sit with their chair as far back as they could blocking the only thoroughfare to the tables at the back. Cakes and coffee’s came one at a time with a 5 minute delay between each. After 2 drinks another cake arrived and we were asked if we were waiting for anything else. We were still waiting for a coffee and 2 teas plus 2 more cakes. 2 of us had finished our coffees before the rest had arrived. Fine if you want takeaway but won’t be eating in again when there is South Deep and Rockets and Rascals both within walking distance. Agree with another poster. Buy and exit, eat elsewhere...

Outstanding establishment and lovely friendly front of house peeps - what a gem! Found you when exploring the lovely surrounding area, wanted to try every gourmet sandwich on the menu but eventually narrowed it down to The Jay Special on a pretzel bun, New York Deli on a bagel and Hoisin Chicken on brown bread. All were absolutely delicious, delightfully fresh, packed with quality produce and well worth the money. I’m so gutted that we live 2 hours away and nothing near us even slightly compares. If you are visiting the area I highly recommend you take a trip to PMB you will not be disappointed (only that there’s not one near where you live) 👏👏👏 well done guys we’ll be back to try some...
