Pizza cottage — Restaurant in England

We moved to the area earlier in the year and out of 'tourist' season we couldn't fault the service. Now the 'tourist' season has begun the takeaway has shifted from looking after us as locals and turned to lying. We placed an order earlier much in line with any other order that we placed before the season begun, we spoke to a female that didn't seem to get our order and so we went through it slowly and again. Our order was delivered and wrong so called the takeaway back to be told that I spoke to the 'gruff' male when ordering which I most certainly did not. As a native villager that likes this takeaway and having had the lies they have told me this evening I shall not use again and I would urge anyone to use an alternative takeaway. If local businesses cant look after local people during the off season why should they be trusted to look after visitors? Go elsewhere people we live here and...

Ordered two garlic and tomato pizzas, two cheesy chips and garlic and a doner kebab.

Pizzas were crispy and barely eatable, couldn't taste any garlic, it was like a plain pizza.

Cheesey chips were solid like a brick, literally two minutes after getting them. Garlic sauce was just like solid cream and tasted off.

Doner kebab was all mixed together, didn't ask if we wanted it that way. Don't like spicy food so inedible.

Took about 45 minutes. Absolutely disgraceful.

Travel further and go elsewhere.

£20 in the bin.

Ordered collection on a busy Friday night. It's got new owners, and I can only summise that the previous reviews relate to the owners before these. All staff were working hard inside when I picked up my order. It took longer than I was told, but I factored this in anyway as all takeaways are busy on weekends. It was good to see the pizzas with multiple toppings getting cooked in layers so that each item was properly cooked too. Food was very nice, fresh and tasty. The chips were crispy and hot.
