Poms Kitchen — Restaurant in England

I’ve been coming to Poms for many years as do my family who live in Scilly. Normally we gave a great time an d the food is always super. Unfortunately tonight’s meal 5 August 2025 at 7.30pm was wrecked by incredibly and incessantly loud, shouting, yelling children whose parents did not quieten them down. We could barely hear ourselves think! In those circumstances the restaurateur should ask customers to tone things down and consider others. Such a wonderful restaurant in a beautiful location. Everyone speaks so highly of Poms, and we can see why! Excellent service with really attentive and friendly staff - we met them all, which was lovely - and we can't praise them highly enough. Phones down, so we ordered on line. The map location pin shows Hugh town. Used order now button to order on line. After I paid, the receipt said I had to collect from Old town which is on the other side of side of the island. We ended up eating outside to avoid the food getting cold during the long walk home.
