Porthallow Beach Cafe — Restaurant in England

Sadly this new cafe was lacking. I have a medical dietary need, Coeliac disease, requiring a gluten free diet. With no information on the menu except an indication of vegetarian options, I asked for further information. There is a sign, by the door, stating people with dietary needs should ask. This is where it fell apart. Unhelpful staff stated they could not help me as they did not have a list of ingredients....even though this is mandatory by law. I was made to feel a nuisance, with them stating they had had a very busy lunch time (this was at 2.30). Sadly, despite advertising that they are open on Sundays, they were not! Of course the owners have the prerogative to close whenever necessary but please keep your public informed. You have a presence on Google etc. so advise people of any changes. We travelled quite a distance just to visit you....
